"Satisfied with the materials, but not as much with the overall installation experience. Per the offering on their corporate website, LL (Scottsdale) “organized installation” by subcontracting to an installation company. Many of the negatives are thus toward that company, although all communications were with LL until the actual day of installation. Good things: Nice people in the Scottsdale LL Flooring office, responsive, polite, and they offer a good selection of materials. Couldn’t find the wood we wanted elsewhere, but LL had it (Acacia.) Quality of the material was good. LL subcontracted to an installation company (Watson Installation). Downers: Unfortunately, the combined work scope between both companies left a great amount of work to be done when the installers were “work complete.” So, recommend being ready to be your own prime contractor and foreman, and to hire (or attempt to DIY) many aspects of the job, including: caulking, minor drywall repair, paint; reinstalling a toilet. Overall, the “extras” had to be performed by other contractors, which increased the duration of the job from 3 days (forecasted) to 11 days (actual.) Granted, LL Flooring doesn't advertise itself as a full-service company, but they subcontracted to a company who "does"....and the combination of the two companies "didn't.""
