"Very poor communication. The office area will tell you one thing while you are on the phone and when you show up for your appointment it is a different thing. So you have to cancel your appointment and they waisted your time. This has happened three times. But Dr Holmes is great but poor communication in the front check in."

He is thoughtful, the kids love him and goes beyond to listen to worries and offer great advice and guidance: He is also open to hearing worries or concerns and will do what it takes to help kids. We would drive wherever he works to continue to see him. The desk staff is usually straightforward but helpful as well:)"

"Dr. Holmes does not understand asthma or the prescribed treatment. I am over 40 and have had asthma since I was a child. My dad also had asthma. All of my kids have asthma. We recently moved and went here to get my son's prescriptions filled so he could BREATHE (kind of an essential function). He prescribed ONE rescue inhaler (a one month supply) for the visit. This was in March. In JUNE, we tried to refill the prescription, and someone called us to ask why we went through the dosage so quickly (we went through a one month supply in 3 months). I asked for them to fill 3 months because it's cheaper with my insurance. The nurse told me that ONE INHALER (200 puffs) is a YEAR supply!... It is ONE MONTH. Trust me... I'm not trying to OD my son on a rescue inhaler and I understand asthma and it's medication- not to mention that I understand how many days are in a year. One inhaler wouldn't even cover one puff per day....and this is for CHRONIC ASTHMA... at least 4 puffs per day. So, they scheduled ANOTHER appointment (more money in his pocket) to figure out how we'd go through a one month supply of medication over the course of 3 months. They called in ONE more inhaler.... when I asked for a 3 month supply since that is cheaper with my insurance. I had to driver over 80 miles to get it, and they only gave us one inhaler. This guy is so DUMB about asthma. He doesn't understand the condition or the medication. It's not only frustrating, but it's scary. DO NOT GO HERE."

"Dr. Holmes was very friendly and helpful when I took my child in. He was fantastic with my child and listened to my concerns. He is a great listener and is very knowledgeable. I would recommend him to anyone. His medical assistants were wonderful as well. She was patient and helped my child feel at ease. Very accommodating and quick to respond when I called back to the office."
