"This use to be my favorite store to shop! Larry was the best manager . NOW things have changed and so has the culture at the store. first of all, you have a gentleman at the front end working self check out all he does is hit on all the young women.. Today I was going to order $100 plus flower bouquet, but it was going to take over five hours to get it prepared. I was able to go to a regular floral place and get it done less than an hour when I asked to speak to the store manager about it I was put on hold And never picked up when I called to speak to corporate again horrible customer service I started the call by telling them I’m calling about Queen Creek store Ironwood Nateel and where do you think the conversation goes? Which location are you calling about after 10 minutes I’ve already given you that information, sir I don’t have time for all these games. If Safeway can’t take care of their customers, I can shop somewhere else, and if the store manager doesn’t want to take care of the customers, I’m sure not gonna make an extra trip to this store like I used to because of Larry"

"Shopped for some items at the Safeway located at Ocotillo Road and Ironwood Road. Leann was a very patient cashier. I observed her patiently assisting a customer in front of me who was ensuring he received specific discounts on specific items. As she scanned and checked the register, she would verify the discount was applied and would inform the customer. She was calm and patient with the customer! She deserved an in applause from those of us in line waiting. Kudos to her and the staff at this particular Safeway. Every item for which I was shopping was in stock and available. The store was clean. Aisles were clear and safe. Shopping carts were being collected as I arrived and were available at the entrance."

"Excellent experience. I've shopped Safeway for 50 years. This was the best, cleanest and the staff was extremely helpful as well as courteous. As a disabled Vietnam veteran, I found that the handicapped parking was awesome. The manager should be an example and training for all Safeway stores."

"The bakery at this Safeway did an amazing job for my Valentines order for my hubby. They called me because they didn't have the design in their books, but they were able to find the image to make what I ordered. Very happy and will definitely order from them again."

"I picked up this beautiful cake (“Happy Birthday” plaque was added at home) from the Safeway bakery for my Mom’s 69th birthday. Not only was it GORGEOUS, but it was tasty too! The cake itself was a fluffy strawberry with whipped cream frosting between the layers. I didn’t order ahead and was a little worried it wouldn’t be fresh, but it was so moist and tasted like it was just made. It was under $25 which I feel is a deal considering how nice it looked, the flavor and the fact that I ran in and picked it up on the fly. I was able to grab a couple cute balloons and a lovely bunch of flowers all in one stop. Safeway is, surprisingly, now my go to for cakes and celebration necessities!"
