"I have been going to this office since I was in high school. Dr Nia has always been kind and great to my family over the years. When I got my own insurance I still chose this office for my dental care. Recently, I started bringing my wife to the office as well to see Dr. Vu who is absolutely wonderful. We drive all the way from central Phoenix to see her for this reason. However, recently we have a torrid time interacting with Johanna the receptionist. We were referred to a specialist by Dr Vu after a procedure to evaluate the need for a root canal on the Friday before MLK day. I could not get an appointment with short notice at the recommended endodontist office until 2/5. I called the office for advice and Johanna rudely reprimanded me for failing to find an appointment resulting in the need to reschedule. She then lectured me that the crowns had to be done right away and can’t wait till after 2/5 risking infection. So I called around my area and finally secured a consultation, got cleared and called Johanna back right away the following Monday. Surprisingly the very person lecturing me about the urgency of setting crowns is suddenly unwilling to work with my wife’s schedule pushing us all the way back to 2/1 which is almost a whole month after the temporary crowns were put in. She refused to call their other office for any availability. I had to call myself and was given a plethora of openings to choose from. Today I tried to update my wife’s dental insurance she received from her employer at the beginning of the new year but had the misfortune of speaking with Johanna. While working out the details of this insurance Johanna expressed annoyance that this new insurance may require the office to redo the billing all together and she actually said to me,” you had this insurance and you didn’t bother to tell us?” She followed with telling me I need to verify eligibility with the company and have them fax said eligibility to her. As someone also working in the medical field I can tell you they have billing offices for this kind of work. Insurance companies have provider numbers you can call to clarify eligibility/billing. It seems to me despite having wonderful dentists at this office, Johanna is someone you want to avoid as she can get disrespectful the moment she feels inconvenienced. She certainly won’t make any attempts to help you. I would skip this office and go to their other location instead."

"Everyone here is awesome! I’m not proud of it, but I’ll admit, when I first saw the name “Dentists R Us” I immediately had a less than pleasant, maybe even borderline-icky, type environment in mind. Lol But boy was I wrong! These ladies were all warm and friendly! I am truly impressed by the level of customer care I received here! Highly recommend!!"
