"If I could give zero stars, I would. I stopped off at this location on my way into Phoenix, while on the way to my hotel. First off, it was an oven, the A/C must have been out and everything was melting, including customers. They should have closed down in such conditions. I was already in since it appeared to be open. While picking up a few toiletries, I overheard one of the cashiers talking about my bag. I was traveling and therefore using my attaché as my purse. They said to one another that I brought it in to shoplift when they thought I couldn't hear them. After I paid my $75 in necessities, I tried to go to my car. There was a pole attached to my basket and I couldn't get out. The employees were in front of the store smoking, and told me I couldn't leave the store with it. I was parked outside and had a basket full, including a case of water. I couldn't possibly carry it all. They were rude and talking about me as I made a couple of trips to my car to gather all of the items I had purchased. I have never had such an experience. What a trashy store, and trashy people to go with it. No shame in their behavior at all, they almost seemed proud to be so rude. I've shopped Family Dollar in other states, this was the absolute worse I've ever seen."
"Immediately upon arrival, I was ushered into a veritable world of value. 3 liter bottle of Shasta cola? $1. Personal intimacy oils? $1. Filet of tilapia? $1. A cornucopia oasis of frugal findings! Attentive staff, friendly and fast, knowledgeable about their wares. Items and products, grouped together with other products kin to them. Toys! Seasonal displays! Candy! Oh, the CANDY! Sour Patch Kids! Werther's Originals! M&M ice cream bars! Jelly Belly jelly beans! There is a place. I've seen it's glory. To quote a wise man, "I WOULD, in fact, buy THAT for a dollar... ""
