"Not happy and they don't even communicate. I came to Villago in July of 2023 as a new patient, as I am very dedicated to my dental care. I am in my late 50's and have only had a few fillings ever. I had xrays and a cleaning, but at the end of the cleaning, the dentist came in to inspect. He told me at that time that one of my fillings was an issue, as there were tiny pin sized black spots, but only a few and I felt no pain or sensitivity with this tooth. However he said it was a bad filling and I needed to do a crown to replace it. I said "isn't there something less drastic, as it seems like a big step". He assured me it was the only option for the issue. The front desk ran my insurance and told me that the crown work would cost me $515 out of pocket. I told them I wasn't ready to schedule just yet. As the next few months went by, they continued to text me to ask to schedule it, I kept saying not yet. Then in early November, I got an email saying they were offering $50 thru December for any dental service to encourage booking prior to year end. I decided to go ahead and schedule it. I did the first visit mid November, and was given a temporary crown. Then in early December they replaced that with the permanent crown. I told the doctor at that time I could not eat or drink on the left side as the crown was super sensitive, and he assured me it would get better. In January, I opened a letter from my insurance and found out they denied the whole claim as it pretty much stated that "service did not get prior approval and service was excessive, alternatives should have been used". I also had gotten an email from Villago stating I had a balance on my account of over $465. I was so upset as I already paid almost $500 even with their $50 credit, and now I owed more because they 1) didn't get preauthorization from an insurance they partner with and should have known this was required, and 2) like I worried, it was an excessive procedure that should not have been done, something less could have sufficed. I wrote them a letter in February stating the above and included the denial letter from insurance. I asked them to resubmit the claim and even do a peer to peer dental call with the doctor to explain why they felt a crown was needed, as that's what the denial letter said could be done for reconsideration. I also stated that to this day I still cannot chew easily or drink without major pain in the crown. I have received no communication from them .... no letter, email or call to discuss my situation, rather they keep sending me an email stating I still owe $465. I will NEVER go back here, and will be sure all knows about my bad experience. I plan to call my insurance too and file a complaint as this is not good practice and I'm shocked they have not reached out to discuss it at all!!!!!"

"Horrible experience 0 stars!!!! Made an appointment for my wife and my self. Drove 3 hours to get to the appointment and when we arrived they said they only had myself down for an appointment. Girl at front desk could have cared less. We both left without being seen. We have been patients for years we recently moved away but thought we could make our cleaning appointments. Not the dentist office we once knew. Will never return."
