"Very disappointed with the lack of customer service given today at Merle Norman. We called yesterday for a makeover and they set up an appointment for my friend, (soon to be bride) at 11:00am today. When we walked in, we were not greeted. Then we were told that the "high risk" employee was "NOT DOING A MAKEOVER" today. There was no compromise, no apologies, and no alternate appointments offered. My friend had planned to purchase makeup there (after I had raved about their products) but we didn't know the exact colors she needed nor how to apply it for her wedding. We were hoping for at minimum, some ideas or direction. We had to ask for samples, since none were offered after presenting our dilemma. The employee did give us a dime sized container of foundation, thank you. She also asked us to "move to the right of the store" so she could go around the counter. We were wearing masks and remaining 6 foot apart from her. I am very resilient and understanding, but the employee acted like we had the plague. I understand that Covid, is scary but if you're "high risk" stay home. Or at the very least, be considerate and apologize for the misunderstanding. I am very disappointed in this womans behavior."

"DO NOT get your ears pierced here! I took my 7-year-old daughter here to get her ears pierced a few months back. The piercing on the right ear was done too close to the bottom of the earlobe and it has now split and torn. We took her to the pediatrician that day and he immediately recommended having a plastic surgeon repair it in order for it to heal properly. Beyond offering to re-pierce (which of course we will not have that done here), the manager was unsympathetic and willing to make it right."
