"Here's my concern: If I tell you guys the truth and blabber about how great Shea really is, then you will all flock to her salon and I will find it more challenging to schedule future appointments. I could just say "she is OK" and leave it at that. But the problem with doing that is that I don't lie. My story: I have had the same stylist since 1978, when we were both teenagers. That's right...44 years. That stylist was 15 when she first cut my hair but she had to retire for health reasons. I read a review from another of Shea's clients who was in a similar situation, stating he'd had a difficult time finding a new stylist, too. I don't remember if that review is here at Google or at the other "Y" review site, but feel free to look for it. Conclusion: That other client is 100% correct. Shea was amazing from start to finish. She asked probing questions about the look that I wanted. She spent time trimming away with her scissors while engaging in a lively two-way conversation. Her personality was very positive, upbeat and she expressed a very strong desire to please. She even took photos because she wanted to be able to refer to them next time to compare how the cut she gave me responded over time. Only one other stylist has ever done that: Yes, the one whom I was with for the past 44 years. I'm not likely to log 44 years with Shea (even if she never retires, I'd be over 100 years old). But after the amazing first appointment that I experienced with her this week, death is the only thing that will prevent me from attending a second appointment. FYI: I had never heard of Shea before March 27th, when I read all the rave reviews about her and scheduled my first appointment. She may very well be Scottsdale's best kept men's hair styling secret. Now, thanks to me not being able to either lie or to keep my mouth shut, and to you guys reading this and all flocking there, I'm probably gonna discover that I'll have to wait until 2023 before she has an opening in her schedule. Sigh... Definitely an A+ for Shea! Thank you!"
