"It was the worst possible time for my car to decide to display the dreaded "check engine light" and for the information cluster on my dashboard to read "engine inspection required"! I was merging onto the 101 into fast moving traffic when my accelerator decided it wasn't going to cooperate and my engine nearly stalled. I feared the worst and wondered how much this was going to cost me, or even worse, was this the end of my 2015 Mazda with 280K miles on the odometer. I was able to limp my vehicle into Bay’s Complete Auto Care around 10am on Friday morning to find out where I stood. Patrick hooked my vehicle up to the computer to determine what was causing the issue and quickly determined it was only a fuel pump issue. He immediately sourced the correct part for my vehicle and said it would arrive later in the afternoon but wasn’t sure if they could get to it by the end of the day. Much to my surprise I received a phone call from Sebastian around 4pm the same day, informing me that my vehicle was finished and was ready to be picked up. Made my way back over there and the cost for the repair was exactly what they had quoted me earlier in the day, not a penny more! My car is running fantastically now due to the quick and professional work these guys do! It’s so hard to find an honest mechanic these days but Patrick and Sebastian are the cream of the crop! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend their shop to anyone! I would give them more than 5 stars if I could!"

"I ordered a Groupon to get my oil changed, tires rotated and a 21 point inspection check. First off, I don’t like that they aren’t open on weekends due to me working a 9-5. I totally get it however. If you provide great service you should make your own hours and the perks of having your own business. I called and made an appointment and was able to get in a few days later. Friendly service over the phone. No change in demeanor when mentioning the Groupon ( I hate being called out for being broke) so immediate plus. Arrived and it’s in an automotive district where a single female would not normally feel comfortable HOWEVER the lobby not only looked great but smelled great. Very nice little establishment! My appointment was for 4pm and I was out by 4:50. I was not charged for random things. They were honest and efficient. The guy who runs the desk was great with not only service but listening to his interactions with the other customer’s you could tell he knew what he was talking about. Great experience overall. He sold me, the mechanics sold me, the owner sold me. I will definitely be back and recommend to everyone I know!"
"This is a mixed experience with Bays auto. Went to try them out since there was a Groupon sale. The oil change I think is good, but it's hard to tell. But they were fast. Even the service write up just days oil change based on recommendations. No indication of what weight or viscosity was used. No indication on what was inspected, and they don't reset your tire pressure. Just don't inspire a lot of confidence. That confidence is lowered when I asked them to check my high beam. They diagnose the problem, I paid for them to do the work, and it's still not fixed. They said just change the bulb and I asked for a quote. I was told labor is only going to be about $20, when it's time to pay labor became $60. It left a bad taste. When they gave me the car back, it's obvious they didn't even check their work since they would have noticed the high beam is not fixed yet. I had to tested it myself and let them know they did not do the job. They played it off as in oh there must be something else wrong. Not a single sense of accountability for the wrong diagnosis. Now they can't figure out what's wrong, and said they'll research and call me back. That was 12/12 and it's now 12/17, no call back. Again, another part that inspired little confidence."
