"Honestly, I don’t even know where to begin. Dr. Smallwood and his staff are unicorns. I have never been to a dentist office (Or any medical facility) like Dr. Smallwood office in my life. Not only is the facility state of the art, it’s beautiful, and I am obsessed with the huge waterfall. Everyone of his staff members are extremely professional, never rush you and believe it or not on time 99.9% of the time. Personally, I have never had to wait in the office for my appointment. They are always ready for me and that is a huge plus considering I drive all the way from Prescott down to Dr. Smallwood’s office. yes I said Prescott, literally will not go anywhere else. I was recommended to Dr. Smallwood‘s office by a friend after having a horrific experience having veneers done by a doctor that had no business putting veneers on. From my understanding, A dental license gives Dentist the ability to perform veneer work. However, a smile transformation should be done by a cosmetic dentist. Cosmetic dentist have more extensive training when it comes to full smile makeovers than simply placing a crown on one or two teeth that need them I unfortunately learned this the hard way. I will spare you all of the horrific details, but ultimately my previous Dentist did not have cosmetic dental experience and shaved my teeth down way more than was necessary for the procedure. Not only that I was in pain most of the time, especially when I was in his chair during the dental procedures but also after the procedures. It was several months of being uncomfortable and having your teeth just ache. I thought I would just push through it since I had already paid, and there was no refunds, however it got to a point that not only was a traumatized. My veneers were not staying on. They weren’t placed correctly and too much of my tooth was taken off. I knew that I needed to have them redone. Dr. Smallwood was able to get me in right away, made me feel extremely comfortable and knew exactly what needed to be done. He spent a lot of time with me going over what had happened to me and what needed to be done to correct the current situation. Unfortunately, I could have avoided a lot of this if I saw a cosmetic dentist to begin with, however Dr. Smallwood handles a lot of corrective procedures like mine. Other dentist that have no business doing Smile makeovers that go wrong. Dr. Smallwood is definitely the place you need to go. Dr. Smallwood has a private room where he does all of his cosmetic procedures. I was able to lay down with a blanket and feel comfortable. Dr. Smallwood always takes his time. I never feel rushed with him and I could ask him 1 million questions and he would answer all of them, not many doctors will do that. Not to mention I needed to have all of my veneers removed and he took his time. Usually he would just take them all off at once and then put them all back on it once, however he decided to do the top to completion and then start on the bottom. Not only did I need my veneers redone, but my bite was completely off. Dr. Smallwood never charge me for the time multiple visits. It took to do separate appointments for upper and lower. He just did it because he knew that was what needed to be done to have everything come out correctly. He is not all about money like most facilities he actually cares about his patience. When it comes to his patients, Dr. Smallwood listens to each and everyone of them. He knows that I absolutely hate going to the dentist And he does everything to make me feel comfortable when I’m in there. I could go on and on about him and his staff because that’s truly how amazing they are but unfortunately Google reviews only allows so many characters. "Wow! I can’t say enough good things about this office. From the minute you walk in the door, you are greeted by the office manager, Aaron. I felt at ease immediately. Jessica, the assistant, did an awesome job on my teeth and helped me feel comfortable the entire time. Dr. Smallwood explained everything in easy-to-understand terms and his bedside manner is excellent. I highly recommend this office!
