"Stopped by to pick up a few products and let’s just say that will my last time shopping at ulta altogether. Im a black woman and felt racially profiled while shopping today. I use to work in retail many years ago and I understood what was happening. The employees keep watching & approaching me asking if I needed help. Then when I went to check out, I was still being watched, one of the women on the floor had to check and make sure all the products I picked up was there on the counter. Ulta do better! All black people do not steal!"

"the staff is warm and friendly and the place is clean.I did have a facial however that night I was left with a severe burning sensation in my eyes .I had a red light treatment at the end of my session. I don't think my eyes were protected properly .I don't think there was permanent damage but it did leave me really concerned . I put several different kinds of eye drops in my eyes that night as well as a cold compress. the pain diminished the next day .however I know that looking into a red light can be dangerous for the eyes ."

"This is a third time I've encountered a very unpleasant experience. When checking out my items at this location, my experience on the floor with the associates is great. They're always very helpful, smiling and easy to work with. But my experience quickly turns bad when I get to the register on this particular day which was last week Saturday. I wanted to remove an item off my receipt before my total and girl told me. Well, it's on sale anyway, making me feel very uncomfortable that I wanted to remove the item. It's my money. I spend it the way I want. And for her to question, my decision was not pleasant at all. I suggest putting the more mature friendly associates up front and not these rude people that make your whole experience turn bad. The associates name was Yala or Yada! She could have at least faked a smile or pretended to like her job!"

"I got my hair done and my goal was to go back to soft brown with blond. I was supposed to get a “full lift.” They claim was very dark and it was not, in fact my hair still had blond in it from when I had it blond a few months back. I sat on their chair for close to 3 hours so I can leave with almost the same color of hair I went in with! It didn’t sit well with me and I called the next day. She argued that my hair was a level 3, my hair was not black. I had to contact Ulta customer service and have yet to hear back from them. I paid so much money here, I am appalled at the price they charge for the nothing that I got and they were all so proud of their job!!! I could have done toner work myself going to Sally’s. The stylist was nervous the whole time and now I know why! She knew she wasn’t getting the job done right and for the $300 that she was charging me for! I wanted half of my money back but because of the way the company of handling this situation and how bad my hair is, I want all of my money back! I have gone to other stylist and showed them before and after and gasp in disbelief at the horrible job and more so the PRICE!!! Like wthk?! $300!!! Come on, Ulta, do better! My hair is no where near how I would have liked it or where I wanted it and working towards at all! And no, it wouldn’t have stripped had you gone a tone lighter. I’m ashamed and will never step a foot again in that store. (Before and after no difference, I didn’t want reddish tones at all)"

"I brought my daughter to get her hair done and we absolutely love it. It was her first time getting it dyed so drastically and Melissa was very attentive and made sure there was no breakage and that her color was even and healthy. Thank you so much Melissa!"
