"Was pleased the last couple of times coming but it's been the main two ladies that do my hair this time was very disappointed time not only did it seem like the hairdresser didn't want to do my hair. Another is to seem like she rushed to do my hair because no product was used in my hair to make it seem nice and tight. Not only that my front part of my braids came undone, like if it was just twisted on not braided in and for $55 for this type of service, which was very disappointing. Don't recommend coming back."

"The worst braiding salon experience I've ever had. The owner or who ever she was, was so rude! I brought two packs of braiding hair which she said wasn't enough. Charged me an extra $10 for a third pack which I ended up not needing, but because the girl who did my hair accidentally used the hair they brought out still charged me the extra $10. Had a unprofessional younger women do my hair and the owner would yell at her all the time. My braids did not turn out that beautiful. All I got were plain cornrows to the back. I would not recommend this place. Take your business else where."

"I am glad that they had a chair open for me last min. I got a traditional sew in. I love it. The experience was a good one. I don’t know why I was charged full price tbh because they didn’t have any tools to style my hair and I had to go home and do it myself but I was okay with that. Anyways I would go back and I’m taking my daughter next time."

"This was my 1st time getting extensions in AZ and I have to say, it's the best in the business at African Hair Braiding. The website does not match up to the physical location but the quality of work exceeds your exceptions. Their keen attention to detail and end product ensures my return. I absolutely love my hair. My previously spoke upon price was honored although the size/length of my braids changed. It resulted with an even better braiding experience than originally planned for. I settled on tiny micro-braids with 2 stylists. Outside of it taking 9 hours to complete, I have zero complaints. I gave them a 4 star only because I was repeatedly quoted 6 hours and ended up missing a function due to the extra 3 hours it took for completion."

Although the stylist ended up doing more work on my hair, the shop honored the price that I negotiated with them before they started. I tipped the stylist well for the time she put in. Almost three weeks later and my braids still look fresh! A couple were too tight in the back and only one has fallen out where my hair is super short. I would definitely recommend this salon :)"
