Reviews
"Manager is the rudest person I've ever met in a paying environment. Susan is wonderful. If not for Susan, I wouldn't go there."
"Unfortunately I could walk to this salon from where I live it's so close However, it was horribly dirty and SMELLED like rotten feet. I arrived on time for my gel manicure appointment. I was told to pick out my color, and the polish bottles were dusty and dirty. The whole place was covered in dust. I canceled my appointment and walked out."
"The nail techs I’ve experience have always been nice and do a decent job. The front desk woman is determined to make you feel like a P.O.S. just for being there. Don’t expect a smile, a thank you, and if your dip manicure chips 3 days after your manicure it’s your fault for typing too hard at your office job not theirs. She is enough to make this beautiful place with great workers unpleasant"
"I’ve been coming here for years and I’ll never be back. $25 extra for a squiggly line that looks like a 5 year old did it. Not to mention the esthetician was doing 3 other people’s nails at the same time. Rushing my nails. Didn’t even finish my manicure and told me I was “good to go”. When I called to resolve the issue I had the manger was hostile and rude. They were going to charge me even more money to fix their mistake. Too many good salons to put up with that behavior."
"I always give a retail or restaurant or service provider like Grand Nails Lounge three opportunities if the first visit is less than satisfactory. My first visit was late September 2021. My girlfriends and I were staying at a nearby resort and decided to get a mani and pedi. My girlfriend said her nail technician was rude and rushed the service. I didn’t have a problem with my service so I visited a second time. During my second visit I suggested I return since I observed my nail technician rushing. They were closing soon and the nail technician was rushing through my service. I wanted to ensure she shaped the nails correctly since it was dip powder and not acrylic. Today was my third and last visit to Grand Nails Lounge - Scottsdale. I was told that the pricing would vary due to length and shape. This is to be expected since coffin and almond shape are trending. I asked for square round and was originally told $65 even though the pricing for pink and white is $50. I accepted this price. Then I sat down and was asked what length and shape -repeatedly. I was then told $68 by the manager and $72 by the nail technician. At the end of my service I provided my debit card and was then told $75. When I asked why the price had increased and changed three different times I was told “this is Scottsdale. “Honey, honey …. Scottsdale is a small area in Arizona … beautiful but it’s not all that. San Diego native who just relocated here from Irvine, California. I travel a bit for work and had my nails done in some of the best areas of the most expensive area codes. It doesn’t matter where you get your nails done. The pricing published on your website and menu is what should be accurate. A customer shouldn’t have to hear three different pricing for the same service during the same visit. I do not recommend your nail salon. I generally pay $100 for a single nail service so the price is not the issue. It was the service. My nail technician was delightful but the one at the door collecting payment was very abrasive."
