Essence of Nails

"Disappointing. I went for the upsell- the most expensive pedicure (sugar scrub, lotion, mask, hot stone, paraffin…the works). Easily, this should have been a 1 hour service. From the time I walked through the door, to the time I left, only 20 minutes had passed. In addition, the nail tech used gel polish. I figured it must be standard for this salon, and was included in the cost. I was not told about the extra charge for gel, nor given a polish choice. My complaint about the warp-speed pedicure and extra charge for polish fell on deaf ears. I will never go back to this place."

"I’ve been in for my last 3 visits and was so happy with the first two! However today’s visit left me with nothing but disappointment! While my pedicure was lovely, my my acrylic fill was the downfall. I had requested the same design I received 6 weeks ago (with a picture clearly showing it). The Nail Tech informed me that he was the best and always did these styles and then proceeded to create something that looked NOTHING like what I wanted! I was disappointed in all but one of the 4 nails with a design. I was so frustrated and already late for an appointment that I just left after paying but I will be returning tomorrow for a redo or refund. The fact that I was charge $70 for a fill that has only been $40 previously is my biggest irk. I was charged $75 for the full set the first time! "The lady who did my pedicure took her time and did an excellent job! I love my feet now that she fixed them. She did not charge for the nail trim or gel polish removal like most other places. I'm very happy with the service I was given! I will be back!"

"the best nail experience i’ve ever received . i got my nails done by a lady, she was 28 but i’m not sure what her name was, and she made sure to communicate with me throughout the entire process and made sure i liked my nails. i appreciate her understanding since the set i asked for was pretty complicated, she was extremely sweet and the service was amazing. 10/10 would go again."

"I went in and asked for a full set. They didn’t tell me it would cost me $10 for coffin shape. See the picture, they aren’t even coffin shaped. So my full set that stated would be $38 was $48. Then I asked for a polish change on my toes and they forced me to pay for a pedicure and charge me another $10 due to the previous polish being gel when the last time I came here, I was only charged $15 for a gel polish change. They were rude, pushy and didn’t tell me about any of these charges prior to performing the services. Will never return. I advise anyone to take their money elsewhere: their prices on the menu are not what they end up charging you."
