Splendid Nail Spa by VQ

"I debated about writing this review because there are a couple techs that are great however, on a previous visit the older lady hurt me so bad. She was attempting to cut an ingrown nail, but cut way more than was necessary including my skin. I immediately started to bleed. She put ointment on it, but it kept bleeding. This lady had attempted to do a dip manicure on me before and was just horrible! The younger lady in the first desk had to do them all over again because the dip was so thick and uneven, it wasn’t salvageable. It took over two weeks for my toe to heal with me consistently cleaning it and applying medication. During that time it was full of puss and dried blood every morning and every evening. I returned and let the owner know what had occurred in attempt to let them make it right with a refund or discount, but unfortunately all she said was “sorry, next time let me know so I can fix it.” It wasn’t a bad polish or anything that could be fixed, so I was quite disappointed. The two gentlemen that do the pedicures are great. They are gentle and kind and have done my pedicures many times. I have had both techs in the front desk do my nails (acrylics, gel and dip,) but I haven’t had the warmest experience (to put it nicely.) The photo attached was the same day, unfortunately I didn’t take any when it was so swollen and full of puss. I got my pedicure done Christmas week because events I had planned, but it was so painful to walk and much less presentable. It looked so gross I was embarrassed to show my feet. Unfortunately, this was the last time I will be here. There are way to many good nail shops to keep returning for bad service."

"Moved away from the area, and have tried numerous different nail salons. After a couple of years, made a decision to make the longer drive. No salon does my nails as perfectly as Splendid. Everyone is pleasant and my nails look the best."

"Came in with my friend today, I got a gel manicure and my friend got a pedicure and a full set. V (I believe that's her name) did an awesome job on both of our nails, my nails are nice and smooth and I love the design."
