"I was terrified to get my first root canal, but coming to SAE my fears were alleviated the moment I checked in at the front desk. This office does root canals every day, all day and it's obvious. Clear directions, kind and understanding (and patient) support staff, and efficient procedures from the front desk to check out. Dr Funk was specific, no nonsense, and focused. I had a couple of "zings" when they were numbing and he took his time and checked in with me before proceeding as well as gave me extra time to make sure I was completely numb. While waiting, I could hear the other doctors and patients and was happy to hear how well everyone was treated and how great the docs were at explaining procedures. Post procedure he shared what was accomplished, and why he felt very confident that the root canal was a success. His medical assistant Echo even rubbed my arm while the numbing process was happening; an extra kindness that was appreciated. Dr Funk shook my hand as I was finished and the check out process was a breeze. I highly recommend this practice for it's years of experience and professionalism."
