"We highly recommend Dr. Priya! She is an absolute angel and took such great care of our son. We had a bad experience at a different dentist and our friends referred us to Dr. Priya for his care. From the moment she met our son, she was unbelievably gentle and kind and really worked to earn his trust. When she did his fillings, she explained everything to him as she went and comforted him. She even sang to him at one point. She is the best dentist and we will be recommending her to all of our friends with tiny humans!"
"I truly can't thank Tucson Smiles enough for the utmost amazing care we've received. Our son had five teeth removed. We opted for general anesthesia out of the best interest for our kiddo, in addition to reducing any sort of traumatizing experience. Dr. Spencer Wilde was the anesthesiologist, the amount of care and ease he provided was spectacular. We truly have the best dentist (Dr. Laila Hishaw). She's warm and welcoming, and so very kind. My husband and I had our hands full as we were leaving the office, Dr. Hishaw helped carry our belongings to our car. That's so unheard of, but very welcomed! She also called to check in on our son that evening. The staff was also very friendly, and appoligetically communicated the slight delay in start time. As an operating room nurse myself, I understand that delays can occur, and it's always important to provide the needed time and attention to each kiddo and their procedure. I highly recommend Tucson Smiles, and am so thankful for everything they do!"
"I've been bringing both of my children here for several years now, and have nothing but great experiences. The hygienists are GREAT with my kids, and they have TVs on the ceiling which my kids love while they're getting their teeth cleaned! Dr. Hishaw has also filled a couple of cavities for my daughter, and has performed a couple of other procedures to help her receding gum line. Dr. Hishaw took the time to explain to my daughter everything she was doing and made her (and me!) feel SO at ease. I really like this office and highly recommend the staff!"
"The dentist is nice and good with the kiddos. However they have to many rules. You can’t bring more than one child at a time for procedures, otherwise the other child has to wait in the car. They don’t allow kids to wait in the waiting room or go back in the procedure room. If you are late for an appt because you got your appt time mixed up they charge you per child and the price is steep. I think they forgot they are working with children and working parents. Being for pediatrics I would expect a little more flexible."
"We have been going to Tucson Smiles for a few years and I had to stop going because the front end staff is so awful. I think it’s one person in particular, but she is super rude, flat and condescending. I needed to reschedule my daughters appointment because she had missed school the day before and I didn’t want her to leave early from school and miss more school. The first snap response from her was “I’ll need a card to pay the cancellation fee, let me know when you’re ready”. I have never canceled before or had to reschedule. I was a bit taken back and tried to explain what I stated above and she again said “let me know when you’re ready”. Safe to say it didn’t end well. Not sure if she is burned out, not paid enough or needs a job where she doesn’t interface with people, but wow!"
