"This dentist is a joke. I moved to the area in 2021 and have been going to this dentist since I have arrived. Out of all the cleanings I've had I've only seen the actual dentist one time. Earlier this year I had to get a root canal and crown due to pain in one of my molars. I've had this procedure done once before at a different dentist office and the root canal and crown were both done in office. I paid around $900 for everything. At this office I was referred somewhere else to get the root canal and then got the crown made at Sahuarita Modern Dentistry. I was charged over $1,500 and almost 5 months later I have another bill coming. According to the statement it's an up-charge for something I didn't ask for. They also put fluoride on my husbands teeth at his appointment when they knew it wasn't covered under insurance. They didn't bother to ask if he wanted it or not either. I'm done with this dentist and will be switching to a more reliable one in the area. If I could give 0 stars I would. Update 2/28/24: My husband went to a new dentist today and had to pay for a deep clean due to this dentist neglecting his back teeth when he had his cleanings. Be warned that if you go to this dentist they won’t take care of your teeth. Thanks Sahuarita Modern Dentistry for costing me more money because of your negligence!"

"Can’t give any stars. The hygienist was great and they do a good job. For a second time, the Dentist on duty was late in coming to look at my X-rays. He would not discuss the small piece of bone coming out throug the gum skin near where I had previously had a tooth extracted. I was told this person would have to come back to see me. This was apparently a person who they brought in as a non resident contractor who work for a variety of places. Since I did have an infection after that extraction I did not want to see him again. This Dentist dismissed me as a patient. Perhaps they have been sued by other patients?? He was rude and totally not helpful. I found another place to go for the bone spur.. can’t recommend this place at all!"

"I figured my review is just a drop in the bucket, but after seeing other people express their frustration with the same issue I feel like I need to voice my complaints as well. Their scheduling system seems to be extremely flawed. For every appointment I’ve had here it has needed to be rescheduled. While annoying, it has not been too significant because I have received calls asking to switch the appointment day/time and we’ve made it work. However for my most recent appointment I showed up after confirming my date and time via email to find that they had apparently moved my appointment to the following day without any attempt to notify me. Like I said, I had an email which I showed to the front desk showing my appointment day and time. I have just become fed up with having to be bounced around. Second, I have only seen the dentist for my first appointment here. Every other time I have been informed that the dentist is running too far behind and I could either choose to leave, or wait a significant amount of time to be seen. With their inconvenient scheduling practices and dentists that are always running behind (it could be the fact that there are too many patients booked simultaneously for them to keep up), combined with a few other minor issues, have just made my experience here feel like I am just ran through a factory"

"There is no situation you can be in to justify coming here. Just go somewhere else. Management doesn't understand scheduling. I was here for a cleaning and some xrays. Showed up as the place opened, and spent the next 3 hours here. All because they scheduled more people than they had rooms for. And instead of efficiently shuffling the basic patients for low time cost procedures through first, they fill up the rooms with patients needing 45+ min treatments... Meaning I now have to wait on that. This is all stuff that is easily fixable on the spot by some one paying attention and doing a good job. Cleaning? Xrays? Dentist looks at you? This is a 45 minute appointment total, tops. Not 3 hours. And this is just today. Months ago I was here with my kids. Showed up in person... With the kids, to get them appointments for checking up and work. We spent 20 minutes getting all their info setup and them scheduled... For 2 months out. Upon arrival this is when they decided to mention for the first time that they do not do pediatric dentistry. So they looked me in the eyes and happily took all our information and wasted 2 months I could have sought another care provider. The dentist however did seem competent. It's unfortunate he works here."
