"This office is part of a chain! Don’t be fooled. Money is the bottom line and they take advantage of anyone who looks like they don’t know any better. They’ll use credit cards to get you to sign up for debt just so you can do one of their cerec “same day” crowns. Then these flimsy things break when you’re eating and there’s no warranty unless you’ve paid them to clean your teeth. What a scam."
"Dr. Bortz is amazing. He has been my dentist for years, and makes complex procedures simple. He is prepared, communicative, and willing to discuss various options. I highly recommend!"
"I have been going to Dr. Bortz since I found his practice in 2022. The hygienist Julie is one of the best my hubby and I have ever had and Dr Bortz is for sure, a dental perfectionist, and that’s a good thing because he’s working on my teeth. Highly recommend, very professional, very kind and very personable."
"Absolutely love getting my teeth cleaned and work done here. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Not to mention, but the Dentist is one of the best I’ve ever had. He definitely leaves you with a million dollar smile. Thank you all for keeping my mouth healthy."
"So, I went to Dr. Bortz in 2016 or 2017 and he advised me my teeth all needed to be removed or crowned. I was in shock because I never even had a cavity or any other issue. I was even told that my insurance was so good and I was getting a "deal". I was given a deal, that is for sure. He wanted to do the procedures as quick as he could. I was told by Dr. Watson that I was getting a smile makeover and my smile would look upgraded and different. I was scheduled in with the man that surgeon to do the pulling first. They took out a lot of my teeth including all my back ones and only left one back molar. He then had the other guy do the root canals. The cost was still pretty high. Dr Bortz then stepped in and each time he would I believe distract me from the process by his endless conversations about nothing about the procedures. He would say things about other patients and not good things a lot of the times. I finally got everything done and he wanted me to come back every couple of months to have a cleaning which I did. The last time I came in after I Iost my upper crown he told me there was nothing they could do and I had to pay thousands for an implant. He did not even discount it even though I should have had insurance on my crowns. I could not afford it. I walked out with a missing tooth. I went back to have a cleaning and I had never had that hygienist before. She was super rough and I think she was trying to pull my crowns off which he had filed my teeth so much it would not be hard to do. I saw someone walk by and I think it may have been the dentist. She was shaking her head as if to alert him they were not breaking just yet. After this I had one implant done and I started losing my crowns one by one. Not even 2 years after the procedure that was super painful I am losing my teeth? My crown is gone now and my teeth under are sharp and pointed and I look like a vampire. I just lost my front tooth. I look like a legit Crack head. He did nothing for me. 5 to 6 years later I was told today by another dentist I will lose them all. He told me I need dentures now at 42. I cry everyday and I want to die. Life is no good to me anymore. There is no happiness left in this body. My smile was my personality and now there is nothing. He even told me he is friends with all the prosecutors in AZ and he does their teeth almost to scare me into not saying anything. He then said he has so much insurance that no one can touch him. I was told to get a lawyer but I cannot afford one. I had to file bankruptcy also because of the debt. It has been the worst nightmare of my life. I will not leave the house and my mother is sick with dementia and I refuse to travel to see her because she will not recognize me with these teeth anymore even without the recent diagnosis of dementia. I have nothing to live for anymore. Be careful at this place is all I have to say. Here are pics before and after. Looks are deceiving. Under the crowned ones is a hot mess. Why did you do this to me Doctor?"
