"You would think a rock yard would be interested in selling rocks but in this case the gal behind the counter sent me away. I was looking for 3 large boulders (300-400 lbs each). I explained to her that I needed some boulders to protect my short retaining wall that continues to be driven over and knocked down. She said to me, “Don’t waste your money because people will just move them anyway”. She then directed me the upper yard where they kept the boulders. At this point I couldn’t believe she told me it was a waste of money. Oh well, I drove down to Star Nursery, explained what I needed and the gentlemen walked me down to the boulders and said here’s a few in that size range so let me know which ones you like and I’ll load them on your trailer. Perfect!!! A rock yard that was interested in selling rock. Kinda like selling groceries at the grocery store or beer at a bar."

"I went to Havasu Enterprises to get some decorative rock samples that I could take home and compare to the existing decorative rocks in my front yard. I also took samples of my rocks back to Havasu Enterprises. Between the lady in the front office and myself we agreed that "Saddleback" was a match. So, I ordered a ton of Saddleback and hauled it home. I assumed that these people knew what they were doing. I was wrong. I wasn't able to get to spreading the rock around my yard until late in the afternoon and I was working to beat daylight. When I woke up in the morning, to my surprise, it was easy to notice that the rock I received from Havasu Enterprises was not Saddleback, it was "Desert Red" (I knew this from the samples that I had received the day before). I wasn't very happy about it, but I had already spread most of the load. So, I planned on dealing with it. However, I felt compelled to let Havasu Enterprises know about their mistake. I called and the same lady who helped me the day before answered the phone. I told her my story and she got defensive, blaming it on me and laughing about it. This is why I'm writing this negative review. If she would have apologized and offered me some sort of restitution (Saddleback is more expensive than Desert Red), then I would not be writing this negative review."

"Had the rock I needed. A little higher price than others but well worth it as customer service is outstanding."
