"If you want a real burrito that is big at a good price. Then you definitely want to go to Stan's. I had the regular bacon breakfast burrito that felt like it weighed a pound with lots of bacon in it. They have a couple others with like all the meats that I want to try next time."
"A very clean place to have breakfast at. I drove all the way from El Centro since my friend recommended me this place. Costumer service was amazing I had a great time talking to this young men who told me he had barely started working there and he was funny. Great family owned business. Now I can tell why they have so many awards. Will come back!"
"The best ‘Breakfast Burrito’ in Yuma, Arizona is served at Stan’s Grocery. We order a ‘Bacon & Egg’ burrito and split it (without sharing, a breakfast burrito from ‘Stan’s’ will last you all day). The salsa served at Stan’s completes the experience. The burritos are made in the ‘on site,’ cocina (kitchen). The burrito arrives steaming hot, with fresh ingredients. We select a soft drink from the refrigerated display cases, and settle in to enjoy a great breakfast burrito. The restaurant itself was once a grocery store, but has been converted to a restaurant. Stan’s is busy in the morning hours with many customers picking up ‘to go orders.’ The many customers at Stan’s are a representative cross-section of the Yuma community, including winter ‘snowbirds’ who ‘know the drill’ when in Yuma. Can’t wait ‘till our next visit to Stan’s Grocery in Yuma, Arizona."
"Stan’s Grocery says that it has been “serving Yuma since 1945.” When you first walk in you will see a section of wall covered in certificates that rank Stan’s as Yuma’s Best breakfast burrito going back more than 20 years. When we were driving to Stan’s for the first time we thought that Siri had taken us to the wrong place as it looked like we were driving in a regular residential neighborhood. We walked into what looks like a remodel burrito shop and we were a bit disappointed to find no evidence of what was formally a grocery/convenience store. There’s a small counter to order from and the rest of the area is tables for customers dining in. We placed a takeout order of a Machaca/potato/egg burrito to share and a bean & cheese to try later. The breakfast burrito was large and very good. The bean & cheese was average size but was also very good. With breakfast burritos like this, it’s pretty clear to see why Stan’s has been around as long as they have!"
