Reviews of Dairy Queen Grill & Chill
"I entered the restaurant and could detect a foul odor. I addressed it with the shift leader Jaime and she said, "I don't know about that." I also entered the restroom and there was a foul odor in there too. It's apparent cleanliness is not their priority. I also witnessed Jaime helping a line of customers. She finished helping one customer and then darted off to the back without acknowledging the remaining single customer waiting in line, who looked dumbfounded by her behavior. If this is how management acts, the other staff are likely poorly trained as well. I'm not going back."
"What can be said about DQ ice cream is only amazing. Did you know that the Ice cream has a low butterfat making it better for you. Hamburgers, chicken fingers, and fries. The best."
"We went to this Dairy Queen on the way home on my son's 12th birthday for a treat after a fun day out (Sunday, Jan. 28). We decided to go in because we were new at ordering. We wanted to get chicken strips and blizzards, but I couldn't justify paying $10.77 for a four piece chicken strips meal. So we decided to just order two large blizzards, a small dipped cone for a person at home, onion rings, and cheese curds to go. We were told there weren't any cheese curds, so we opted for fries. The order came out to $30, and some change. Outrageous in my opinion. We also saw an order be taken to a table that had cheese curds on the tray after we ordered. There was only one other customer/group (or maybe two) in the restaurant. No line at the register. I was handed the dipped cone first, and the blizzards came out a little while later with a less than half enthused employee performing the famous blizzard flip over. The fries and onion rings took so long that the dipped cone was now leaning over, and the top pockets of the cone were full of melted ice cream. I just couldn't believe fries and onion rings took that long in a fast food place. We had a six minute drive home, and the cone was dripping through the napkins and down my hand. I was very disappointed with the whole thing, but kept smiling for the kids. I will only order blizzards from now on IF we ever go back to Dairy Queen, which doesn't seem likely. The kids loved the cookie dough and oreo blizzards. The fries and onion rings were fresh (they better have been for how long they took) and did taste good, but definitely overpriced and took forever."
"I am a regular customer at this location. The food portions, food quality and service are not consistent and vary greatly depending on the employees on duty . Sometimes portions are very small for the cost or the food is cold. Never bad, always acceptable, just better portions and food quality on some visits than others."
"I walked in and waited patiently for the cashier to take my order. I waited with 4 other people in front of me. As she got to me she looked at me and said hold on sir and walked in the back started preparing other peoples orders. I was the last person in line and she did not return… I was there for a good 4 going on 5 min but she just acted like a wasn’t even there. I’m not saying it’s discrimination but I do feel it. Won’t be going here again and if your a few shades darker then normal I would avoid."
