"My boyfriend and I typically enjoy visiting Uptown and love Red Embers, even do pick up often! Unfortunately Thursday November 9th when we went to pick up our food, and an individual by the name of Chase was excessively rude and spoke to us as if we were incompetent individuals. As paying customers and members of the community this situation was very disturbing and ruined the experience that we so frequently enjoy. I’ve never met an unprofessional staff member on any of my encounters, until tonight. It would bring us sadness to invite family and friends to this establishment, unknowing if this individual or others that speak in such demeaning manors were to be the ones to serve us. Sincerely disappointed and have reached out to the location, but have yet to hear back."

"Should be a 0 star, but Google doesn’t allow it for whatever reason. Walked in at 4pm, party of 7. We waited 40 minutes and asked multiple times (5x) to get a waiter or some level of service. Only until we asked for a manager did someone meander on over. We ended up going to Native and being helped within minutes of sitting down. In addition, a group of 5 walked in 30 minutes after us ant Ember’s and an employee walked over within minutes. Not surprised to see terrible reviews by others. If the service is this bad, can only wonder what the food must taste like.."

"Food was horrible, tasteless. My man ordered Korean beef soft corn tacos, and there was nothing soft about them! He couldn't even eat them. I ordered the uptown burger, no flavor, just not good. The only thing that was good was the loaded quesadilla. And expect to wait awhile for the food to come out. Also, when I asked what kind of mixed drinks they had, the waiter said, I don't know, I'm not an alcoholic"

"We were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. I got a Reubens cheeseburger. It is new on their menu as of Wed. My wife's Flatbread was Aldo new on the menu. She really like it. We also got the chips n guacamole. Very delish Our server was very pleasant and attentive. Def be back again."

"Great place. I find myself here about 5 times a week. The food is awesome, they always have deals going, which makes it extremely affordable."
