"Wow. Just wow. Came here for the first time based on a recommendation from a bartender at another venue, which is fantastic. Everything was great at first. Bartener was lovely, had some great convo, drinks were great. Then closing time comes rolling around. She asks me if I want one more before the cut off. Excellent, thank you I felt very taken care of.. Then literally 5 minutes go by and I'm trying to suck my drink down, lights go on. Doorman starts yelling, get the f out. Get the F out. What the hell?? So I tell the bartender, you just gave me this drink 5 minutes ago. "Oh, that was out of the goodness of my heart". When I questioned this, I was told "never come back!". I was not drunk or beligerent, but confused as to why I was served when the policy was of complete intolerance after the cut off time. Damn right I won't ever come back. That's insane. What a bunch of trash. Obviously, this place is not used to having any real tourism.. Avoid this place at all costs."
"Very disappointed with the service I received at this establishment. My friends and I were at the bar trying to order drinks the bartender was very rude. We each had ordered the same thing and when it came time to pay we each handed him our cards to open a tab. The bartender refused to do individual tabs says don’t you see the line here, snatching my friends card out of her hand and swiped all three drinks on her tab. The line he was referring to was a total of 3 people. It was 6 pm on a Saturday and the bar was pretty empty. When we went back up to order again the same 3 drinks we were helped by a different bartender, he brought back only one drink, he was advised that we had ordered three drinks, he yelled at us saying that we never told him three when we did. What ever had to basic customer service. If you don’t like to deal with customers then don’t work In a customer service job period. I will not be returning."
"My husband and I have been coming to Che's for a very long time and have never had any issue's with anyone as far as staff. We were just finishing up drinking our beer's and cashed out our bill. My husband signed his receipt and left a zero tip, not because he wasn't going to leave one but because he always will leave a cash tip. We weren't ready to leave because I had wanted to get a glass of water before we had left. I went to the bar to ask for a glass of water and as I asked a gentleman behind the bar he leans over handing me a receipt saying tell your friend he need to pay his bill. I'm like excuse me as I turn around handing the bill to my husband like what is he talking about? My husband then informs me that he already paid the bill, as he then goes up to the bar to talk to the gentleman behind the bar. Apparently then gentleman behind the bar is pissed off because my husband left a zero tip but him not knowing that once I finished my glass of water we would have then left a cash tip. The gentleman behind the bar starts demanding a tip now! My husband says my wife asked for a glass of water we aren't ready to leave yet. The gentleman behind the bar then tells my husband that he is not giving me a glass of water until he gets a tip. At this time then my husband feels someone come from behind him pick him up and walks him out the front doors. Honestly it was a completely embarrassing moment as we have never been treated this way at any other places before. We got kicked out even before my husband was done with his beer. Nor did I get my glass of water that I had asked for. Point being the gentleman behind the bar was very RUDE AND DEMANDING. We will never come back to Che's again."
"Cool bar/venue with an average sized bar and a large outdoor patio with a stage. It's like 2 spots in one because what's happening outside is very different than what's going on inside! Playlist of a variety of music inside and live performers and DJs outside! They also had the best hot toddy I've ever had in my life! It's on the corner of 7th and a cute little road lined with lots of other bars, eats and shops and a train that runs down the middle. Drive slow, there's lots of foot traffic."
"I've started coming here a couple times now, each time the bar is stock full of people. They make sure to check your ID at the door. They don't have table service so you have to wait at the bar for your drinks and bring them back to your table. The drinks are always well made and reasonable priced. They have a patio as well. My biggest issue with this place is when I use the rest room I feel like I walked into a hotel that people pay by the hour. It is quite dirty, run down and dreary. I get the atmosphere however you can have atmosphere and still look good. I feel like the atmosphere of the bar doesn't reach in the bathroom and it's just been forgotten about."
