Reviews of Lip Trix Boardshop
"Rad shop, lot of great gear, stout selection of decks. I’m not a local yet still treated like one. Will be back! Cheers"
"I went in to buy my first skateboard. I didn’t know a lot about the technical side of building a board, after talking with the staff member(I’m sorry but I’ve forgotten his name), he was super knowledgeable and patient with me whenever I had questions. Thank you brother!!"
"Decent selection, a little overpriced, but three stars because their employees aren’t very knowledgeable. I bought my very first board there and basically let the employees choose the right board for me and bought two pairs of boots and gloves about $1000 total. I made a joke of asking for a free wax for spending that much and he told me that the capita boards came pre waxed (FALSE). It was my first board so I just listened to the professionals. That board had zero wax and I spent the first 2 hrs of my first day on the mountain waiting for Brian head and their long line of people to wax my board. Super annoying."
"UPDATE: i was super hopeful to receive good service by them from everyone whose recommended me to stop by for my snowboards to be waxed. The process was simple. Drop them off, pay them for their service, and you recieve a text when the boards are ready. That part was great. When arriving, they even inspected both boards and bindings and told us that they were both in great shape since they were both brand new. Their quality of their work is what makes me frustrated. After picking them up, I assumed I could trust their quality checks because they know what they're doing. However, as soon as my husband and I got to Brian Head and tried to strap ourselves in, we quickly realized that my right binding came back broken and my front strap was misplaced so there was no way for me to be able to ride my new board today. Additionally, my husband's bindings were put back on the wrong way with the left binding being put where the right foot should be and the right binging on the left side. So we had to fix his as soon as we arrived. This place has costed me my bindings that now need to be replaced along with the misplaced strap that they forgot to put back on after waxing. This has been a horrible 1st time experience and I am super disappointing that they don't do basic quality checks before moving on to waxing the next board. It seems to me, that their focus is on working fast and recklessly to where they can rest for the rest of their shift. I'm not recommend this place to anyone. We took the board in today to talk to a manager about the situation. He has the audacity to call us liars and told us that they dont believe that they broke my binding so they're not going to do anything about it! This place is ridiculous."
"Support your local Skateshop. Whether you're from St. Jeezy or are just passing by the staff here is RAD! VERY VERY knowledgeable and so cool. I almost hit the buy now button in my Amazon cart but couldn't bring myself to harming a local board shop. This shop has a little bit of everything from snow, wake surfing, skate, long boarding to loads of clothing all name brand current to past time brands from independent, Santa Cruz, vans, element, enjoi to name a few...I just dropped $125 when I planned on only dropping $40. Great staff and fun environment. SKATE OR DIE"
