"I will never step foot in a Safeway store again. Every-time I shop at Safeway and pick up my groceries I am missing items, I never complain just let them know what they didn’t include and they refund me. This last time they sent me a $10 off coupon which I could not download so I called customer service and they wanted to argue about $10, I told them to delete my account because I can go to frys and not deal with arguments over $10. They did delete my account so I also called the casa grande location and spoke with Alex to let him know that they will lose customers over $10 and he said thx for letting me know, no apologies nothing. I will be posting this all over social media because they should be embarrassed."

"I have twice had a problem with checkout in the last 2 months. Self check out is fine and I use them often unless I'm buying a cart full. Self check does not have the room to check out that many groceries. I have back issues and by the time I load the cart I'm in pain. I asked evening manager to be checked out but she said no one could do it. I left full cart. Second time 2 weeks ago I didn't even think about until I was ready to check out and saw a huge line at Self check. No other lanes open.. I asked the clerk at Self check if he would call someone because I had so much. He said he was the only clerk in the store. ( well that was a great plan) This is just not acceptable. Especially at the prices you charge. Frys was very happy to take my 300.00 and check me out."

"We've been shopping here a lot lately. Love the sales - when prices seem to be going through the roof everywhere. Employees seem very helpful and courteous. The store is always clean. And the produce section is well stocked and organized."

"Just arrived in town and staying for a month or so. I needed a few groceries so I stopped in Safeway on Trekell. Was asked by two staff members if I needed help, downloaded the app to get digital coupons. Cashier Debbie walked me through using the app. She is awesome!"
