"I used to love Home Depot, and I've been shopping at this location for the last decade. Over the past few years, I've noticed a decrease in customer service on the floor. My favorite thing had been knowing I could get in and out quickly, but it shifted to 15 minutes wandering because no one was available to point me in the right direction. Things change, and I adapted my expectations. Recently, I experienced pressure from a cashier associate for a survey or to buy something (not the customer satisfaction surveys on the receipt). This morning, I was accosted twice within 5 minutes of entering the store, one from a water softener survey and one about HVAC. I explained that I was a stressed-out homeowner who did not have the answers to the questions and that I just wanted to do my shopping. But they persisted. One started explaining how he was from Home Depot and the other one wasn't--I restated 3 times that I just wanted to be left alone to buy paint. I stopped at customer service when I went out and explained my frustration, noting that I knew the person likely had little power to change the situation. And while I wasn't rude to her, I felt bad that I'd even bothered her with the negativity. In my car, I had that yucky feeling of energy loss when I have to be assertive. But I don't want to put on my armor and be assertive when I go to Home Depot. It's a Saturday morning; I just want my coffee and to buy paint...preferably at a store where people will help me or at least leave me alone. I remembered something else for a new house and the many associated projects, and my next thought was, "do I really want to go back there and go through that again?""

"Easily the best Home Depot I’ve been to in the entire country. I recently moved closest to this location and have been about 5 times now. Each time the customer service has been top notch, which is a lost art nowadays it seems. All the staff here have been beyond helpful and maintain a great attitude. This location rocks! Great work I truly appreciate all of you and am very fortunate to have this location closest to me."

"I called Home Depot 40 min before closing trying to rent a truck for an emergency. Steve in the rental department hooked me up with a great deal! He was so nice , friendly and professional it was wonderful. I would shop at this location just because of Steve. What a great guy thank you Steve you deserve a raise. I appreciate your help.
