"Bring either a solid appetite or a friend to share because you're not going to starve at this place. Food is tremendous and tasty. The hot sauce will definitely tickle your taste buds. The red has a nice lingering bite, the kind where you can't stop eating it. Usually get to go but sometimes sit in a little booths. My only complaint is they could use some better napkins. This is definitely my go-to breakfast and lunch when I'm on this side of town."

"My brothers burrito had BONES in it. A Burrito. And not only that the pinche cashier was rude as hell. Idk why. But she was just like “Here!” In a rude tone and had no manners, forgot our drinks too, had to ask for them. Soda cups are tiny for the price of the food, ice machine didn’t work, soda was warm 0/10"

"Don't let the gas station exterior fool you; El Gordo has excellent food and salsas. It's one of our favorite breakfast burrito places for carry out, of course. Today, I was in the mood for their #27 fried shrimp combo plate, with rice, refried beans, and salad. Comes with your choice of flour or corn tortillas and a drink. It won't put Red Lobster out of business, but it was quite tasty and close to home. I will be ordering it again!"

"Great food, decent prices, generous portions. What more can you ask for? Ordered the street tacos, kid's quesadulla, and asada torta. The ambiance is a little lacking (in a gas station), but that's why the prices are pocket book friendlier. The carne asada and al pastor was flavorful and juicy. The quesadilla was a little lacking compared to the other items I ordered, but maybe that's by design because it's for kids. I'm not a big guacamole fan, but the guac was delicious. The salsas aren't as spicy as I like them to be, but it they had good flavor. Definitely coming back, but I'm gonna try to avoid the peak times. I'm excited to try the other menu items"
