"OMGosh! Where have these beautiful meat filled hand-held pies been all my life!? I've been walking by the store front for weeks and then decided I had to see what these "Pastys" are. I'm so glad I did. The delicious smell when I walked in was so comforting. The woman there explained what they were and helped me choose. Then, on top of that, she asked if I wanted gravy that comes with it! Gravy too? This is such comfort food. You HAVE to try these heavenly hand-held delicacies!"

"First time in the restaurant. We are trying out different British food for an upcoming 70 th bday for my British husband. The pasties are delicious! Very filling and the family loved them. There is not a gluten free option for one of my family members so she will have something else to eat . Lovely experience prices are reasonable and the portions very generous."

"My mom brought me a pasty from the Sonson's NE Mesa location to my work one day it was delicious! Last weekend, I was pumping gas and a truck with the Sonson's logo pulled up to the pump next to me. I realize now it was Julie who got out of the truck. I asked if she owned Sonson's and she said yes. We had a nice little chat, she's a very lovely woman. She told me they had opened a new location in Gilbert. I told her that I'd have to put it on my menu this week. Well, Monday was that day. My hubby stopped in his way home from work and picked up dinner for us and our (adult) kids. None of them had ever had a pasty before. Everyone LOVED them. We had two cottage pies and one steak and cheese and one steak. I love that you can take and heat at home, or have them warm them for you while you're there. Can't wait to do it again, there are so many amazing flavors I can't wait to try!!! It's nice to have this little gem so close to home. "I found this gem just recently. I'm a big bread and pastry fan so meat pies you can hold in your are right up my alley. Hearty but flaky dough, tasty meats and veggies. Good Stuff. There are several different choices, including a vegetarian option, but I highly recommend the Sausage Rolls. Here's a tip: get a couple of Sausage rolls then get a coffee drink a few doors down at GrindTime and your morning is set!"
