"My best friend HATES Mexican food because she has a severe allergy to cilantro. But we can have this food anytime. They are able to accommodate her and still give me the best food too. I love spicy food, with lots of cilantro, so it's great that we can both enjoy it. She always gets the salmon. I love the chips and salsa and accidentally filled up on that. I did have the corn chowder and a salad. Both were fresh and delicious. We got there right at 11 when they opened, and the place filled up around us. It was a random Wednesday, so that was a telling sign that the food is good all around. They had a full bar, but I didn't imbibe, I don't drink during the day, but the marg menu looked amazing. I'll go back for dinner for a full experience!"
"This was a great find. Decided on a meal of New Mexican food and the menu looked yummy. Service was quick and friendly. We started with the Carafe of Killer Margaritas, the best margs I’ve had since landing in AZ, not overly lime sour, and nice to share a carafe with friends as well as a bargain. The Hatch Catch Sampler was a nice starter, and all the dinners were large portions and everyone raved about the flavor. Desert was Espresso Brûlée and the Sopapillas with ice cream. All the food was fresh and so good we all will be coming back to sample more of the menu."
"We had a wonderful meal starting right off with a tasty salsa to go with their warm chips. My wife had the chorizo stuffed chicken. She loved the combination of the spicy chorizo and the sweet amaretto cream sauce. It was accompanied by delicious mashed potatoes and sautéed vegetables. I had the stacked enchiladas with an egg on top. The sauce had a very rich, earthy taste...DELICIOUS! It reminded me of my grandma's homemade stacked enchiladas when I was a child. The service was over the top good!"
"Very intimate! Make reservations! We waited an hour for a table and were able to get a seat at the bar. It was worth the wait! Our bartender was amazing and beautiful personality! The queso is warm and cheesy goodness! The Cruise Daddy is the perfect sweet/sour margarita to compliment any dish on the menu! The salsa has this flavorful chipotle with the right amount of heat."
"We stopped in for lunch on a Tuesday at 11:30. At that point there was hardly anyone in there. After a few minutes, we ordered. My friend and I both got the southwest pasta, my wife had the shrimp pizza and my friends wife got the chimi. It took more than 30 minutes to get our food. That got us off to a bad start. BTW the salsa is still excellent. However our meals weren't up to past visits. My pasta was bland. I had to add half a bowl of salsa to give it flavor. The pizza had lots of cheese but the pesto tasted like out of a jar. And a bad jar at that. The chimi was tiny. I remember this restaurant being great but at least for us, it wasn't anymore."
