"This place was awesome! Of all the other sushi places I've been to this was the place that checked all my boxes. Friendly helpful staff, great menu selection and the sushi was perfect. Every other place I've been to in the area overloaded on some aspect of the food (sauce, cucumber, etc.) but this was the perfect balance. Just really well done sushi, and they were pretty fast too, but we went at a time when there was maybe about 10 other people in the place. This is now my go to sushi spot. It's worth the 25 minute drive for me."

"I love Yama Sushi in Chandler. Service is always fantastic, friendly and they always remember us when we come in. The music is good, sushi is delicious- I always get the chefs nigiri special (9 pieces) for $20 and it is fantastic, and enough to fill me up along with the spicy garlic edamame. I tried 2 new cocktails tonight, the espresso martini (really tasty and a nice dessert drink since I couldn’t have their actual desserts (can’t eat gluten). And then I also had their Yuzu mimosa- also tasty. On a side note- they are very informative on what’s gluten free on the menus and they also have gluten free soy sauce. Yama Sushi is a gem of a spot, casual, yet delicious and superb service everytime."
"First time in. The sushi was all tasty and good quality. Loved the presentation on them too. Atmosphere is great. Service was a little slow is my only complaint."
