"Walked in for dinner. Service was good, as well as the food. Only downside was that they didn't have the "basic" rolls like salmon, Philly or California roll which is always one of our usual to go rolls. What they serve though is really good. The best dish we tried were the chicken wings! Absolutely delicious; juicy and flavorful. Very nice interior as well!"
"Came here excited to try the dishes recommended on Google Maps, only to discover that they've completely revamped their menu. The raw oysters were fresh and delightfully chewy. However, the other dishes we ordered were rather average. My disappointment peaked with this seafood soup; a meager portion with only 5 small prawns, 3 mussels, 4 clams, and 4 scallops. I voiced my concern, and to their credit, the chef stopped by, acknowledged our disappointment, and apologized. They offered us a complimentary dessert. I appreciated their sincerity, and it reflected in a generous 20% tip. The menu change left me puzzled; I hope they consider bringing back some of the great dishes from the old menu in the future."
"The space of Zu and Pocha looks great, the food tastes really good. I love the crab rolls, the cocktails, and the kitchen fries. The service is what dampened the dining experience. My party and I had no silverware until all the food arrived. So we had to wait more. Then there was no napkins until we had to ask multiple of times. Also only two people had their drinks refilled, everyone ran out of water. What made us feel salty is the automated gratuity that we all had to pay. Now I am not against paying great tips for waiters and waitress because I been one myself and know how hard the job can be. But at least the waitress put in some effort."
"Absolutely delicious. We tried the squid ink pasta which is the best thing I’ve tasted in my entire life and I don’t like pastas. We had the oyster shooters which was surprisingly good. It’s oysters inside of soju. The house passion fruit soju was also the best alcoholic beverage I’ve ever had. The sushi rolls were fresh and delicious. Our server Alyssa made our experience worth the 40 minute drive."
"Outstanding! We tried Zu & Pocha for the first time, and we'll definitely be back.We started with a couple of cocktails - the "new fashioned" (smoked with cherry/mesquite) and the Zu Bramble. Both were excellent. Moved onto a dozen oysters on the half shell - perfectly shucked, nicely presented and the best mignonette I've ever had. Then, we had a few goodies off of the Happy Hour menu - calamari, kimchi fried rice and the best chicken wings I've ever had (seriously!) Atmosphere and service were absolutely top-notch too. SO good - give this place a try."
