"An awesome place to gather and eat in Tempe!!! First time in Arizona and this was a great cost-effective option for our large family - we sat outside and dined on some amazingly delicious chicken here - awesome chicken sandwiches with sauce, slaw, and pickles, the 3 piece tenders we got in a variety of southern (no spice, perfect for our sensitive grandma), mild, and hot with perfectly seasoned fries, cornbread mac ‘n cheese, a big chicken salad, and even a vegan chicken sandwich for our family with dietary restrictions! Highly recommend this place - the staff was working so hard to make sure all guests were taken care of during a Saturday night dinner rush and communicated clearly with our group and others. Appreciate their kindness, patience, attention to detail, and generosity! Way to slay Monroe’s in Tempe!!!"

"This place has good food and service! It was our first time trying them and we will be back. When learning it was our first time the manager came over to explain the menu and any of the options we had questions about. I had the sloppy toppy and my some got the strips, and my husband had the sandwich with Cole slaw on it I don’t remember the name cause I was too busy enjoying my food to notice but he enjoyed it. We also had the fries and onion rings and the onion rings where my favorite rings to date. The decor was interesting with mug shots of famous people which we sat and tried to name all of them. Over all good food and big portions, good service and we will be back soon!"

"One of the best chicken sandwich places in the valley. The chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned beautifully. The chicken was crispy on the outside so you get that crunch and inside it was tender & juicy. The fries had seasoning on it which made them taste even better. The customer service he was great and they offered some great recommendations on their most popular items. I will most definitely be returning here."

"Deliciously seasoned and fried chicken in its many forms. Whether it's a filet, finger or popcorn you won't be disappointed. Their choices of sauce are full of flavor and the you can tailor to you heat level. Loved the Cornbread Mac n' Cheese, it was perfectly cheesy, creamy and filling. The counter service rep was extremely helpful with the choices and with the navigation of the touch pad ordering system. Overall great experience. We will return."
