"Super affordable, great food. Sauce is spicy but has Great taste. Michelle was an amazing waitress. Definitely coming back!!!"
"If I could give 10 stars, I would this is the best Mexican food. I have eaten in a long time I was born and raised here in Phoenix, so I’m not real familiar with the New Mexico style, but I am very familiar with Mexican food. I have went to the same restaurants, my entire life, such as Garcia’s last Avenidas Was so disappointed the last time I went there my friend and I literally left a tip and walked out when I discovered Anita’s. I was so excited. I couldn’t even believe how wonderful and fresh the food is you can tell it is made with love. I was so amazed I took my mom and my daughter, my mom was so happy all she kept saying was this is so delicious I can’t believe it. The portions are very big the prices are low. The service is great and I love that it’s so authentic. Everything is just delicious. I have made it a point to try something new every time I go in I was just so shocked and amazed I had to share and I never leave reviews. I’ve been a diehard El Norteño luncher which I still love but little Anita’s is just so bomb…"
"I have tried so many “New Mexican style” eateries here since moving back to AZ from NM 2 years ago and none of them have been like the NM food I’m used to. So when I heard that Little Anita’s was here, of course I went. The food was on point! Chips and salsa were fresh and delicious and the Christmas style enchiladas with the red and green chili were so delish, just like home (ABQ). This is my new regular spot for NM food. A must try!"
"I am a New Mexico native. I appreciate the cuisine of my home state. The New Mexico chili is like no other in the country. Little Anita's is now in Arizona, and that makes me happy. I know they advertise as New Mexico's favorite restaurant, but that is definitely up for debate. New Mexico has so many great restaurants that serve New Mexican cuisine. However, this particular Little Anita's is very good. The neighborhood is near the hospital on McDowell Rd off the 51. I ordered the carne adovada and it was fantastic. The red chili was exactly what I wanted. It reminded me of Albuquerque, NM. Thank you for bringing the New Mexico flavor to Arizona. I know there have been a few restaurants that have brought some flavor of New Mexico, but none of them are memorable, like my experience at Little Anita's. I only advise that the restaurant needs is to serve more tortillas."
"Our server Victor was friendly, polite, and took great care of us. I loved the chips and salsa. The chips were thin, crispy, and warm. The salsa was just the right consistency, slightly chunky and spicy. We were given a breakfast menu along with the regular menu so we tried a couple breakfast items. I really liked the Huevos Rancheros. The red sauce was better than the green sauce, which was a tad on the watery side, but still had chunks of greens peppers and was flavorful. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the portion size and price were just right. We will definitely come back for lunch or dinner. I just wished they had wine on the drinks menu. Place is really cute. They did a good job in remodeling from the way it was before. I especially liked how they divided the dining room into two sections and appreciate the small booths for two."
