"Amazing service, food and drinks. Don’t let the outside of the building or the location fool you. Everything about this restaurant is top notch. Highly recommend the tacos (can mix and match three) and enchiladas (served in 2). Frozen margs are off the chain … made with an ice cream machine so no hard chunks of ice. Our server hustled like one has never seen and we were SO well cared for. We were thankful to have great dessert to finish our meal. An absolute MUST DO restaurant when in PHX!"

"Cocina Madrigal was my first restaurant visit in Arizona. We ate outside since the weather was nice so I can’t say much for the interior feel. The servers were nice and had no issues answering our questions regarding the menu. I was a huge fan of the elote and beef birria enchiladas. The margaritas were small but good! I will be back."

"Heard the buzz about it so came with high expectations. Ordered the trio appetizer the, red and habanero salsa is definitely not homemade. It taste store bought . My mom makes better salsa and guacamole was decent missing lime and salt. Bummer because salsa is a staple of Mexican food. Prickly pear Margarita definitely was the highlight. Ordered the trio tacos pastor was definitely dry. The beef tenderloin is best taco."

"We visited right after arriving at the airport after seeing a story about their Yelp rating. We were promptly seated and did have a reservation. We started with chips and salsa, which were warm, thin, and crispy. The salsa was zesty, and the guacamole was chunky and perfectly seasoned. We ordered the fundido to accompany our starter, which was smokey and flavorful. Our mains were tacos al pastor and chicken enchiladas, and both dishes were wonderful. The al pastor was tender, and the pickled radishes, onion, and cilantro were pleasing to my palate. The sides of pinto beans and rice were delicious as well. The shredded chicken and cheese on the enchiladas were extremely tender and well seasoned. Each bite was a flavor explosion, and our taste buds were dancing. We washed our meal down with jalapeño & prickly pear margaritas, which were both perfectly made and just the right strength of alcohol. The ambiance of the restaurant, which is situated in an older commercial/residential area, was lively and it was packed by 1:00 p.m. Our server Ana was sweet and personable and checked on us throughout our meal. Cocina Madrigal definitely lived up to the hype, and I highly recommend it to visitors and locals alike."

"Absolutely stellar meal here! I got the tacos al pastor and my wife got the mushroom enchiladas. We also got a margarita for me and my wife chose a virgin margarita. Our 4 year old daughter got the cheeseburger and French fries. We also got a guacamole which was thick and chunky. Presentation of the food was beautiful, and the taste was incredible. Even the sides of beans and rice were excellent. Our server was very friendly and prompt. The place was very clean as well. The only negative which wasn’t the fault of the restaurant was the people sitting next to us were unbelievably loud and were dropping a bunch of f-bombs while talking. The acoustics of the restaurant can be loud. I’m not taking a star away for that though!"
