Dickey's Barbecue Pit

"Everything tasted good and came out extremely fast just disappointed with the meat and my toast as they were both cold. Both sides were hot as they came from the steamwell. When I mentioned it to the employees working behind the counter they looked confused and the least bit concerned didn’t say anything besides “ok”. Which is concerning since you can get people sick by serving food under temp hopefully this gets addressed and temps are being taken regularly on all of their food. Service otherwise was good one gentlemen even brought one of our trays of food out and I watched him help carry a bag of food out to a guests car. It also seems more like a hang out place for the employees as some of them enjoyed sitting around moving from table to table talking to one another they may have been on a break for all I know."

"Ordered a Birthday dinner at 3:30 in the afternoon for pick up at 8:00. very disappointed that 3 of the 4 sides requested had been sold out. We got busy was the explanation. I understand getting ambushed for a $100 take out is tough to fill. That's why we ordered and paid at 3:30 and was assured there would be no substitutes"

"I grabbed a to-go order from this place. I'd had a disappointing experience in the past, but today it was great. The Brisket was tender and juicy and perfectly seasoned. A little too much pepper, but that seems to be what everyone other than me wants these days."

"If you are looking for BBQ and/or potatoes in every shape and form, this is the place you have been looking for. It seems to be pretty busy among locals, too. The ordering process was a bit of a confusion for us all, but we got there in the end. Generous portions. Way to go!"

"The staff at this location are super friendly and helpful! The brisket was delicious! Love the 3 types of BBQ sauce: original, sweet, and spicy. The Mac and cheese was super creamy....the macaroni and cheese sausage was so good. Can't wait to go back."
