Reviews of Bashas'
"Yet again another store who’s score is negatively effected by horrible customer service. This store has produce section that is pleasing to the eye. It is always immaculate, everything is fresh and a large variety of fruits and veggies to choose from. They also have wide isles, everything is always neat and faced to the front. The atmosphere here is one of my favorites to shop in. However, I had the worst experience with a cashier. There was no o ne behind me and I had about $350 of groceries and she did not have a bagger. She was not bagging herself as she went but just flinging my groceries into a big pile. So I stepped over and started bagging not minding at all. She whipped a 12 pack of Dr. pepper back to me and the cans started to fall out. I asked if she had a piece of tape so I could tape the box. She said No. I said ok…. Is there anywhere I can get sone or perhaps another bagger can get tape out of the office? She said “No” everyone is busy…. As I’m looking g at two employees doing nothing. She snapped…. What do you need tape for? I said the 12 pack box of Dr. pepper opened up and I have a long way to walk carrying this when I get home. She said “ I don’t have any so you’re just going to have to be careful when unloading it out of the car at home. Not amused I went to the office as asked for a piece of tape from the manager. She asked what happened and I explained that the box had opened and the cashier interrupts “ And I told you we had no tape” I said you know? You are the one that flung it behind you . You could have asked another cashier to check their area for tape. You could have asked a bagger to go find some or just go get me another 12 pack. The manager took over and had a runner go get another 12 pack of Dr.pepper. I appreciated that but even after the manager told her to go take her break she wouldn’t let it go making comments under her breath. I did nothing to get yelled at like that I won’t be going back there for a long time… like maybe like next year"
"Very nice grocery store. High-end food and produce that is very, very fresh. I heard they went out of business but I guess I was wrong."
"Four years ago we did all of our grocery shopping at BASHA’s when we visited as snowbirds. We were finally able to return and we planned for weeks to again shop at BASHA’s. We were very disappointed. The store seemed disorganized and old. We previously had liked the high quality & modern environment. We spent several hundred dollars but couldn’t compete our shopping as shelves were empty or the product brand was not available. For example, We had checked the website ahead of time and saw that the product was available. However despite asking a couple of employees, for help we never found it. These employees didn’t help us look. We purchased this product elsewhere. The most helpful person wasn’t an employee at all, but a restocking representative. Our cashier was a friendly and efficient young man. We are very disappointed in how this store has deteriorated in quality and customer care. We will not be returning."
"If your southside it's thre only thing you got unless you come into town.. kinda expensive. And they say their open till 11 but now they close at 10 and didn't tell anyone. 4 customers alone were upset.."
"This store needs a new staff. All around bad attitude. Combined with being overpriced this store should be avoided. There are way better options in town. Yes it is convenient for those of us who live in the area. But it's only a 3 mile drive to safeway and it's worth the drive."
