Church's Texas Chicken

"We walked in excited to order, and there were 3 food roaches in front of the cash register like they were preparing to order. Don't go to this location, one of the roaches had a bandana and a knife- hightailed it out of there to make food at home!"

"This store has been here many years, so I can't really knock them on the atmosphere they need an update but still functional. Their chicken has always been fresh and never over salted. Prices are decent, but our recent experience has me questioning. They would only take one online coupon per purchase, but the issue was my husband went inside while I went through the drive-thru. we got charge different price for the same exact order. ???? That's not right. There shouldn't be a difference in ordering in store vs. drive-thru."

"Ordered (2) 10 piece meals, as I had 4 adults and 6 children to feed and wanted 2 pieces of chicken for each. I ordered a large gravy. I received 17, not 20 pieces, and the gravy was a disaster in a tied bag, that was underneath the 2 boxes of chicken when handed to me. Picture submitted After a number of attempts to call, (nobody answered) I have decided I will drive back down there to make my disappointment known, request the missing 3 pieces of chicken and a new large gravy. We'll see if service gets better or worse. I'll update this review."

"I came to get their biscuits thinking I will enjoy the delicious flavor they used to have. It’s just flour with some honey on top. ;( sad they aren’t keeping the original recipe, brown, crispy and that special Texas flavor. They don’t even look appealing."
