Reviews of The Lola
"I was treated here for my birthday brunch. Great food, service and atmosphere. The music was great they have a live DJ that was playing great hits. We ordered berry mimosas and they did not disappoint, so delicious! The food did not take long to arrive. The French fries were hittin.. I simply couldn't sit still I was dancing in my seat the entire time I was eating and drinking.. I'm so happy we started out my birthday celebration here. I will be coming back very soon and I will be taking others here for their birthday brunch. Money well spent! What a fabulous time!"
"REALLY cute atmosphere with cool vibes. I love the outdoor area where you can take pictures. I only had drinks, not food, and they were pretty delicious. My friend really enjoyed her chicken sandwich and fries. I had a few minor complaints. First off, we were seated inside at a VERY sticky table. We asked to be moved outside and that table was not sticky so no complaints there. One of the waiters moved the only outdoor heater near us away from us to other guests, so we were left shivering on a windy cool winter day. Our waitress was pretty inattentive, she would just pop her head out the door and ask if we're good. It's REALLY loud inside and basically impossible to have a conversation without literally shouting. For a really nice place, the bathroom was pretty dirty and the floor was wet with God knows what. I'd give this place another chance, but customer service could be a little better, and it could be cleaner."
"Meet up with a friend here for brunch! Super fun place! The food was excellent, the service was great! It's definitely a must for a cute morning breakfast or brunch. Don't skip out on the drinks!! The pancakes were huge and delicious. I had the pancake tacos! It's such a fun twist on food."
"WOW! What a disappointment. We had high hopes for this place and they did not deliver. Once they opened the door to seat us inside, the music was BLARING, like deafening to the point where I had to ask the server to repeat themselves. So if that's your thing, then check it out. Their menu had a decent amount of items. We went with an Eggs Benny and Chicken & Waffles with an addition of bacon and eggs. My husband wanted poached eggs, but they wouldn't let him have that since there wasn't a "button" on their machines for that choice, but they have poached eggs for the Benedict... Someone please make this make sense, because that in itself is poor customer service. When the food arrived, I could not help seeing these two massive chips on the plate that the eggs Benny came on. Clearly presentation there isn't a requirement, but I find it unacceptable for any sit-in restaurant establishment. Eggs Benedict - it's a no go people, I already knew it wasn't going to taste good when I noticed they used a molder for poaching the eggs. The ham was extremely dry, the dish was cold and the amount of arugula & beet salad was laughable. The hollandaise had zero flavor to it, so the entire thing was just bland. The chicken and waffles - better than the Benny, but not that great. Chicken batter was really salty and the rosemary was too much. The bacon & eggs were standard, but damn, you're paying $5 for 3 pieces of thin bacon and $5 for two over medium eggs, we couldn't believe it. I didn't want to use their napkin because it had fuzz all over it. If you're unable to maintain the cleanliness of black napkins, then please, don't use them. The table top was sticky, like something you'd experience at your local pub. The service was subpar, they never even asked how our meal was, during or after when we were paying. Overpriced for what you get. We won't be back."
"The Lola was the perfect place for a girls brunch date. They have shareable items on the menu, a great selection of drinks and the food portion are generous. Being able to split the bill amongst the 5 of us was a huge plus in my book. The staff was a little aloof but respectful and patient."
