Reviews
"I had high expectations for the Wild Berry Diner, but it was a very average dining experience. The food was okay. The service was okay. The decor was bland. For whatever reason, the restaurant seemed to be quite popular with older customers. It felt very similar to a Village Inn or IHOP. Not a bad experience, but nothing to go out of your way for."
"Historical... This place has history. This breakfast stop is a family owned and operated establishment. The owner was at the front taking names and getting hungry humans seated. To push us along we took the bar to be seated where all the action was taking place. This old place has the scene of being an Old converted "Bobs Big Boy" with the set up of the kitchen, booths, and counter. The waitresses were phenomenal. She was attentive, kind, and the kitchen was just as efficient getting the food choices out. The food is where my expectations fell off. The food was presented and there was nothing spectacular in presentation, as the food looked the same as if we just stopped at Village Inn. The taste was naturally just a normal breakfast. What makes this pace unique is the location, the owner, her staff, and the locals who are thankful to have a hometown breakfast, lunch and dinner spot in the area where it's a home town feel. I wouldn't call this a tourist destination spot, but if you are in the area, and looking for a bite to eat, you will be served with kindness, and maybe a meal made just the way a family member used to make."
"I forgot to take pictures, but my friend and I drove by this place and decided to stop for brunch. EXCELLENT CHOICE! The food was fabulous...very home-style. I can't remember what mine was called, but it was some mixed onions, spinach veggie something over red potatoes with two eggs over easy on top. Bestest, yummiest brunch food I've had in a long time. Heavy competition for the diner down the street that I usually take my friends to. I think I prefer this place! I'll be going back for sure! Oh, and great, fast service too."
"Great service. Dolores was our waitress. Very polite, on par with breakfast service! Aunt Sara's Omelette was absolutely delicious! Well done! *****"
"We always like to enjoy a new place for breakfast. And yes, if you're a local. Then you already know about this place and the food. Not to mention the service as well. This is definitely a place to eat, relax, and enjoy some amazing food. My recommendation is definitely the biscuits and gravy. Don't be fooled by the size. This will fill up the most hungry appetite. Even the biscuits are the size of a softball. And they are delicious. Yes. Made in the restaurant. Overall, the food is top-notch along with the staff. It's worth the drive. It's worth the money."
