Jim's Burgers & Eggs

"I had the egg burger, and an order of zucchini. The egg burger was okay I think they might have put too many raw onions mixed in with their lettuce. Aside from that, definitely a smaller portion than I expected with the beef patty. For the price perhaps it's about right. The zucchini was good. Just the right amount of breading; however, it would probably be better if it was sliced a little bit thinner. The thick stocks are pretty juicy, which isn't bad subjective based on pallet. Was my first time here in the service seemed fine. Lady behind the counter seemed cordial. The younger people running the floor were very helpful. The young girl warned me that the zucchini would be hot, and it was. As for atmosphere, the layout was nice very reminiscent of a diner experience. I tried three different tables and all of them were rickety and rocked around. The tables would have been impossible for most people to eat on. I looked down and it seems like the wedged cardboard came out of a couple of them-- that explains that problem. If I had any advice for the owner, it would be to give some love to your tables. The bathrooms were lackluster for the men. As for the women's restroom, I borrowed some soap. There was no soap in the men's bathroom. I know some of us (men) can be considered pretty gruff, but I like to clean my hands prior to eating a burger. Overall, I most likely will not return. Unless I just want an order of decent zucchini."

"This is in the worst two dining experiences I've ever had in my life, and is a very strong contender for the worst ever. We waited twenty minutes in line to order, not a big deal they were busy. The checkout lady was extremely rude from the start. At an hour and ten minutes after ordering, my wife asked me to go check on the food. The chef's said it was dropped, but the check out lady started screaming at me for checking on the food. She started speaking incoherently about bothering all her staff, despite the fact I just stood there, and the Chefs initiated the conversation with me. I had not spoken a word with any staff other than the two Chefs, who were nice about it and not at all combative. At an hour and twenty two minutes after ordering (not including the twenty in the check out) our first two dishes came out, one of which was incorrect. I went to explain the ticket since they obviously had mixed something up. The check out lady got irate and said she had it. At an hour and thirty minutes the brought out 2 additional dishes, out of 10. At an hour and thirty eight minutes they had now brought out 8 of the 10 dishes. My sister-in-law explained the Reuben and Pastrami were still missing. The waitress was now acting rudely, likely she knew that. How she would think we could assume what she knew after delivering food for 16 minutes is beyond any reasoning. At an hour and forty minutes they brought the final two dishes. Everyone's food was alright, but nothing spectacular and certainly not worth that wait. Especially if you are a family doesn't want to eat while others are still waiting on food. Then to add insult to injury, when my wife went in to get some to go boxes, the check-out lady then again jumped down her throat. And to make matters worse, a table that came in before us, got their final dish about 10 minutes after our final dish. First three came out about 10 minutes before we started getting served. All in all terrible. I will never go back and can only recommend you stay far away from this restaurant. They are rude, with extremely long waits for mediocre food and some of the worse service I've ever received."

"This is my fourth time at Jim’s and it grows on me a bit more every time. There are quite the negative reviews about one of the owners being rude, but I have yet to experience that or witness it being done to others. She’s fast, and been kind every time. They definitely have regulars because of conversations back and forth. If you’ve never been let me explain some things to you and you be the judge if it’s a place for you. They have indoor and outdoor seating. It is order and pay at the window as well as a seat yourself location. Come early on the weekends because the place gets crazy busy and you might not find anywhere to sit. If you order water to drink make sure you pick it up before you get to your table because they only bring coffees, soda etc to you. While most forms of payment are accepted like cash/card when you pay it doesn’t ask if you’d like to leave a tip for the employees. Some love that, but the waitress works her tail off. I wouldn’t call her that because today for example we watched her bus tables, bring food, and handing other jobs as we overhead their dishwasher didn’t show up. She’s fast and efficient. I recommend you bring some cash to leave a tip on the table at the end of your meal. I love the veggie omelette here which is always full of fresh veggies, topped with cheese and the hash browns are always perfect and crispy. I hate soggy hash browns. I also like they add a small side of salsa to top it if desired. All in all I enjoy coming when we can find a table. Food and service is always consistent. Again, if you’re looking for full table service and ordering from your table this place isn’t it. Atmosphere for me is just meh. It’s not really a fancy spot. You come to eat and it’s good."

"I've been here a few times and I've never been disappointed. Tonight I drug a new suspect with me and he was also not disappointed. He went for the special which was the Avocado Burger and I went with the Egg Burger since I couldn't decide between breakfast and dinner. The food arrived quickly as ordered and was so good, we're lucky we got pictures! Definitely worth stopping in if you haven't already!"
