"Very solid 4 star and really a 4+ star experience. It’s modern Mexican in terms of ambiance, the food was good and service good. The guacamole with chips was mostly chips and the enchiladas were lower on cheese than expected. Nice bar menu. We had a group of 8 and they handled it well but not exceptional. Lots of great options for $15, which is pretty good for a great location right on University, just steps from the UofA campus! VictorB"

"I was greeted immediately. Brody was my server and he was so patient and helped me decide what to order, the green enchiladas. They were absolutely amazing and filling! Even the rice and beans had good flavor. Great flavor and just enough spice. Will be coming back."

"Wonderful place that is right around the corner from The Graduate Hotel where we were staying. We visited on a Wednesday evening and it wasn't a problem getting a table as U of A was not yet in session. The servers were very nice and attentive and the food portions are huge. I would say one order is more than enough to split between two people."

"I was doing some shopping in this area of Tucson and decided to stop for lunch at Agave. I ordered the Quesabirria plate and it was very tasty and generously portioned. The service was excellent, they even provided me with coins for the parking meter since I didn’t have any cash on me. They have outside seating too and very strong misters to mitigate the heat. I will definitely be back."

"Great food. Service is slow, hopefully they work out the nicks. I've been there about three times so far and on our last visit the server was amazing but it seems like the setup isn't helping. It was a weekday night with only two servers and one bartender. Both servers had tables on the second floor so they had to go up and down rather than sticking to sections downstairs or upstairs. The bartender was extremely weak. Our drink literally came after our appetizer short of our main meal by a couple minutes. Even though it did get comped, we were limited to two drink and we could have had more if they would have pushed the bartender a little bit more or the manager had helped. But we were already done with the food at that point and ready to leave. The place was buzzing and I understand it's a new restaurant, but an additional bartender/ server would be optimal for now Impressive work on the food and presentation."
