"Horrible experience. You can't walk in the front door without being treated like a criminal by the loss prevention. Being asked to stop and wait in a little area in order to be let in was a joke. I rarely go into Burlington but I was reminded why yesterday, and will never go back again. If you have high theft rates, do something else about it rather than assuming and treating everyone like they did something even prior to them entering the store. If I could, I would rate this store a zero."
"My buddy introduced me to this place and now he can barely tear me away when we go in, the security guard was very sweet too and didn't just me for getting all gitty and excited like some places do and I respect that. Your customer service was beautiful too, we are definitely coming back soon! Keep up the amazing work everyone you are doing beautifully."
"While I can understand having an ongoing theft issue and taking measures to prevent it is necessary, but treating every customer as a potential thief is outrageous and uninviting. They herd you in like cattle with barricades then stop you at the door like a night club entrance. The person at the door then proceeds to tell you they want everyone to have a good shopping experience please wait while our new technology works. The whole time glancing back at a monitor touching their ear piece like they were the secret service. Ridiculous...I won't be going back this is invasive and not worth the hassle. The few time I have been they were very picked over and unorganized.....don't waste your time!"
"I went in today to return some items and right from the start the cashier Amanda was extremely rude. Didn’t greet and kept huffing and puffing the entire time. The first returns I unfortunately had the wrong receipt, and she got upset when I asked if she could possibly look it up under my phone number ( which is a customer loyalty question when checking out, why offer it and then get upset when asked about it??) she ended up finding it and gave me my return. Fast forward to the layaway return. I handed her the correct receipt and she scanned and it threw it off to the side rudely and start scanning the items. When I loudly stated for my family member to please grab the receipt because she didn’t have the decency to hand it to us directly, she chimed in “ I put it to the side because I might need it” and I stated back “ no you purposely threw it to the side, and I understand right now it’s a hectic time due to the holidays but it’s not an excuse to have an attitude and be so rude “ in which she responded “ well that’s your opinion of me “ and it was really rude and condescending tone that wasn’t necessary. When she told me I was going to get my refund on a gift card instead of the cash I paid for with my original method, she was rude and quick with no exception or care. It was either take it or leave it. Now the store credit situation yes is upsetting cause I would’ve not taken my layaway out if I was going to get it as store credit. But it’s the fact she was already having such a nasty attitude, yelling that she can help who’s next, ( with an attitude) and only offering the gift card without explaining why, as the issue. When asked for a supervisor or manager, she huffed and walked away and called for one. As the supervisor went over our options for our return we let her know of the situation that had been occurring during the whole transaction, in which Amanda kept trying to put her piece in and not let the guest speak about their bad experience even to the point the supervisor kept glancing and telling her to please stop and calm down. ( that’s how you know ). When we decided we would reach out to the GM tomorrow morning and wanted to just take out items before making a final decision, she rudely placed all the items in the counter basically throwing them on and stated “ here’s all of it well” didn’t even offer a bag or anything ( thank god my family member off to the side was holding the old bag that she was unaware of) but she’s extremely rude and needs to be spoken with. I understand it’s a hard time right now long hours, mess in the store crazy busy. I worked retail for 6 years during the holidays especially when thanksgiving was open. It’s frustrating but it’s not ok to take it out on your customers."
"Tried to shop here. They won’t let you in until more guests come out. I was looking at how to get in and “security” started asking what my issue was. I will never shop here again, and I will tell other people the same They’re so worried about people ripping them off they’re not very friendly to those were there to spend money"
