McDonald's

"Today, I visited the McDonald’s at 1525 W Elliot Rd, Tempe, AZ 85284. I went through the drivethru around noon and was able to pull right up to the speaker without waiting for another vehicle to move forward. The menu board is in horrible need of repair as looks like it’s faded out and lit very dimly (see picture). I ordered combo #3 which was a Double Quarter Pounder and I ordered it with custom toppings. The total was $12.10. The combo came with medium fries and medium soft drink. There was three vehicles in front of me after I pulled forward. The staff moved them through quickly. The guy at the first drivethru window repeated the total and held the card reader outside the window for me to insert my card, which never left my hand. I thought this was a good way for McDonald’s to build trust through e-Security of their customers’ card information. The guy at the second window handed the food to me quickly and remembered to include napkins in the bag. When ordering custom toppings, there’s always the risk of a mistake in the kitchen, but these employees did great! The Double Quarter Pounder was fresh, hot and tasty. The French fries were hot and salted perfectly. The Coca-Cola was cold and delicious. This was a good of a McDonald’s experience as you could want to have."

"This place is absolutely ridiculous. Are they always short staffed or something? My husband, who is a truck driver for UPS and has a limited amount of time to have lunch, ordered his food via the app to pick it up from inside. The doors were locked at it was only 8:20pm. He stood outside for 15 minutes waiting for one of the employees to come to the door. One employee saw him and walked away. Didn't even bother to see what he needed. Finally a girl came to the door to see what he wanted and he told her he had ordered food. They finally brought it to him, and when he asked why the doors were locked, she said its because they were short staffed. It's still absolutely super poor service."

"The dining room is never open. I went 11/24 and was going to walk in an order at 5:51pm and the door to the dining room was locked. I did not want to go through the drive thru."

"Hands down one of the best McDonald's I've visited. The food was good, but the service was exceptional. They seemed understaffed (Thanksgiving holiday) but the manager was apologetic as he brought our food to us - WITH napkins and ketchup. The dining room was spotless and tidy. Would return :)"

"Wouldn’t take my order. After waiting like 10 min, I was told to use the kiosk. Then they took another 10 minutes to take my cash payment. Then the bathrooms were locked and the people ignored me when the was trying to ask for them to open. It’s like the was invisible to them all morning."
