"My husband and I and our friend went in as first timers after hearing about this place for quite some time. We walked in and it smelled heavenly. The girl behind the counter was a sweetheart and a hard worker. My husband and I both got the Brown Sugar Peach which was good. Our friend got the Peanut Butter Chocolate. He took a couple of bites of it and realized it was sour...really sour! We all tried it to make sure it wasn't just him. Nope...it was sour! He went up and exchanged it for a different kind. Which he said was much better. Then the owner came over and started questioning him about it. She got very defensive and rude about it. Even saying that he didn't know what was good. No apologies. Nothing. She said she even took three bites of it to check and that there was nothing wrong with it. There was. It was bad! We walked out. Our first time there will be our last. Won't be going there again!"

"We tried 4 small pies and were so disappointed. The first pie, the lemon meringue, had congealed and tasted awful. As my friend was bringing it back in to exchange, the store was fielding a phone call about how awful the lemon pie was. The chocolate peanut butter pie had a super salty crust so you couldn’t eat the crust. The key lime’s crust was so hard my friend couldn’t cut through it to try the crust. The fourth was cherry, exchanged for the awful tasting lemon, and it was overly sweet as the cherries weren’t tart cherries, but bing cherries. Judging by the reviews, we were expecting some great pie and none of them were. In response to the owner: our group has tried Pie Snob and agree they do have better pie. All the pies we got at Pie Snob tasted good and were edible. The salted crust on the chocolate peanut butter we referenced was not uniform in saltiness so I doubt that’s correct. One mouthful tasted like a mouth full of salt while another bite more like a traditional salted crust."

"Local eatery with great atmosphere. Choices of take home frozen shepherd pies and display cases filled with a variety of pies from meat pies to fruit and cream pies greet you as you enter. Believe I was served by the owner who was pleasant and extremely helpful in choosing pies ( a green chili empanada and small cherry pie to go). If you enjoy a perfectly cooked light and flakey pie crust you will get one here. Also offers flavored teas, coffee, ice cream and other menu items that I'm sure I missed. Nice clean eating area and merchandise with clever Mama Toledo quotes."

"So good!!!! We found a (new to us) pie place today and it is SO SO SO GOOD!!! We chose apple crumble, brought it home and slapped some vanilla ice cream on it. They have thriftys ice cream there at the shop but we're not big thrifty ice cream fans. Do yourself a favor and check it out!!!"

"This place is incredible! I was looking for a cherry cheesecake for Mother’s Day, called several bakeries and nobody would do it for me. During my search I stumbled upon this bakery and was immediately drawn to them by their slogan “We’ll shut your pie hole” hahaha! Long story short, even though it’s not in their menu they were willing to make it for me and it tasted absolutely delicious. The cheesecake was perfect and the wife couldn’t be happier. Before this experience, I had never been to or had ever heard of this place but now it’ll be my go to for personal or work events. Not only is this place fantastic, they are also friendly and are willing to go the extra mile to help customers. Thank you Mamma Toledo's The Pie Hole! You are a gem in the desert!"
