"1/27/24: If I could separate out the rating here I would, because OMG the breads we bought were so damn good, they would rate a 5 for sure. All the plastic packaging though, is why I gave 85 C a 3-star. We picked up a plethora of samples and so far have tasted only a third of them -- but that's enough to verify the breads are well mixed, baked, and paired well with the innards (ube, taro, red bean, etc). Sweet and savory, all yummy. Definitely 5 stars! But the plastic. Jeezy Pete, every single item is in plastic -- and mostly unsealed. Only a couple items on our tray were actually closed, but the rest were wide open. I pray no one poked their fingers where they don't belong. Instead of all the plastic, I would have been much happier seeing the items in cases sans plastic (like donut shops) , then placed in a box, instead of another plastic bag. At least we brought a cloth bag, though. I let myself make the purchase anyway, but because of all the plastic, I won't go back. Oh, and the parking lot was crowded and lines of people were everywhere. It felt a bit like driving the strip in Vegas, people everywhere. I have been to numerous Asian market strip mall areas in the Valley but never have I seen such a crowd. I wonder if there was a give-a-way at one of the shops there. It was cray-cray. :-)"

"Came for the mango desserts, but they were out. Super packed with customers, shelves nearly empty by midafternoon. They were so busy few of the items were labeled, and so everyone was choosing items by sight. The blueberry dessert filled with cream I chose was delicious - heavenly and very fresh and moist. Loved the aroma & flavor of the Rose Milk Tea although almost too sweet. Not so excited about the Chocolate Croissant as it seemed so basic compared to everything else. I need to go back when it’s less crowded to try more!"

"The ambiance and variety at this place are commendable, creating a positive atmosphere. However, the quality of the bread is rather mediocre. Unfortunately, after consuming it, I experienced severe diarrhea. Additionally, the taste of the egg tart leaves much to be desired. Many of the desserts are overly sweet and cloying, reminiscent of an American cupcake rather than the distinctive flavors found in Asian desserts."
