"What a bad experience I noticed the egg has green all over after my first bite. I threw up two times. This is really nasty."

"The first time I’d ever come here, the avocado toast was all nicely spread and seasoned and they had baskets and baskets full of bagels to choose from. They were out of many options, including Everything bagels, so I opted for an Asiago avocado toast. I see now after taking a bite from the top half why the avocado wasn’t spread smoothly. It’s SO underripe it’s inedible. It’s hard and has a slight crunch, only slightly soft on the outermost dark green layer. I gave a piece of the avocado to my boyfriend to see if I was just being picky, but he immediately spit it out and said it was like mushy rubber. I know it’s hard to tell if an avocado is ripe before cutting it, but that avocado, if squeezed, HAD to have been hard as fk. Anyone with basic produce knowledge should be able to tell that a hard avocado isn’t a ready avocado, and it had to have been super obvious when he was trying to spread it. Maybe they go through too many avocados to wait for it to ripen, but, really, I’ve never had this problem with Einstein until today. I wish they would’ve just told me they had no ripe avocados at the moment, and I would’ve just gotten a cream cheese spread."

"Update: Went to their response below and submitted my complaint. No response to this day!! Like I said this used to be a great spot. We will continue to travel further for better service and quality. This place has continued the downward slide. We’ve been going here for years. Service is terrible. The wait is terrible. Selection is terrible. We went here because Arrowhead was bad. Now I think it’s the same owners because it runs just like that location. We’d been going further to Hot Bagels and decided to try again today. Here’s the selection at 10 on a Saturday. 2 bagels waited almost 20 minutes. Stay away! Top it off!! Get home to eat my everything bagel and this is in the bag!!"

"I just bought this Bakers Dozen of bagels with 2 schmears at the 59th Avenue location and the staff person was going to charge me $17.99. The menu on the wall clearly shows $16.99 for this order. I had to ask for a manager to get him to change the price on my bill. Imagine how many people don't pay attention and get charged $1 more than they thought they were paying. I'm sorry but a business should not raise their prices on their cash register unless their signage and menu show the higher price."
