"While I was working, I went here about once a month, or more, because they had the best Chicken Fried steak & eggs, for 15 years. I haven't been here since I retired, 2021. Well I'm sorry to say, they're Chicken Fried steak and eggs, was not as good as I remembered. The gravey was so thin you could almost see through it. Well, I know now that I don't have to go out of my way to come here. Our server was great, and I like the Easter Christmas tree."
"Food was terrible. I mean like seriously, how do you possibly ruin a breakfast dish?! The potatoes were not fresh. I think they’re from the previous day, at least. Look at the bacon!! What is that? It was cooked from last week? I kid you not, I took maybe 4 bites and I was ready for the check. Now, I did like the location. The server was kind. And she didn’t press me at all. I even told her about how the food was disgusting, in a constructive manner. I hope to see this place get it together. They have a great location! Maybe the manager is being cheap…idk. But it’s hurting his business in the long run."
"Juan was an excellent server! He recommended the Chilaquiles Verde. GREAT CALL. The salsa was spicy, a good flavor burn. The chips are house made, thick, yet not greasy. This dish is a must try! My friend had the pancakes with sausage links and red potatoes. The atmosphere is great. An acoustic guitarist, Jean Ladensack, was playing some great background music. This is one of those places to bring a friend for breakfast."
"The Pot Roast Plate was the only "dinner" item they were serving that day and it wasn't even on the main menu. Don't worry to hard about that, it's as ill conceived as the desserts (pictured). The roast was worse than bland, it had been seasoned with someone mild but weird I couldn't quite place. The greenbeans had tomatoes and onions in it. Who does that? I guess they do. Then there's this monstrosity of a 'pumpkin pie' that taste more like a sweet potato pie. That, I just cannot forgive. The mash potatoes were actually good. But if you don't like them lumpy then these wouldn't be for you. The soft jazz and piano music in the background could really make for a nice dinning experience... if the dinning was worth eating."
