"The host wasn’t that friendly. We decided to sit at the bar since he said the waiting time was over 25 minutes. Walking to the bar area we noticed that a few tables were empty and available. At the bar no one greeted us, chairs were dirty so we decided to go back to the host station and ask for a table. While waiting for our table, we noticed that most of the tables had trash and food underneath. It looks like hasn’t been cleaned up in a while. Floors looked dirty too, but since we drove far to get there we decided to give it a try. Our waitress wasn’t that friendly and didn’t give us the right information about the flight mimosa price and we ended up paying more than if we have ordered the bottomless special. We weren’t happy about it, but we didn’t want to cause any drama. On the other side, food was AMAZING! We were so impressed by the flavors and freshness of the dishes we ordered that we even ordered some for takeout. I hope that you guys can pay attention to the cleanliness of your restaurant and hire more friendly and customer oriented staff."
"We've been meaning to try Toast 101 for years, driving past it many times seeing lines of people streaming in and out of the door. We finally decided to visit and give it a try to see what All of the hype is about. Upon entering we saw a very different and much more pleasing interior than its exterior. It took a minute or two for anybody to acknowledge us at the front door even though we were the only ones there at the front door. It wasn't very busy inside on a Friday morning which was good as we knew we would probably be served quickly so we could move on with our day. After being seated by a friendly hostess it took about 10 minutes for water to be given and at least another 10 minutes before our order was taken, again with about 70% capacity in the restaurant. About 15 minutes later we received our meal which was visually appealing. My wife had a Greek avocado toast meal which looked good but has way too much feta cheese on it which overwhelmed the avocado toast. We also had a bacon board for $10 with six pieces of bacon which all were very tasty. I ordered the chicken and waffles with a spicy syrup. It was pretty good and surprisingly the chicken breast was not dry which I appreciate. I wish the chicken and waffles was served with dark meat instead just for flavor and moisture, but this chicken breast was good. Once we were done it took a bit in order to get our check, again. I wanted to give service a four because our server was very friendly and had a good personality and seem to be much busier than other servers but decided to give a three based on the overall service experience as their needs to be a bit more attention to all its customers I think. Overall, with all of the other great breakfast and brunch locations around Tucson we're not sure if we'll return to Toast 101, but you never know."
"Our server was very attentive and super kind. All of their food is super super good and they give you a lot for the price. We ordered a French toast flight and an avocado sunrise eggs Benedict. Everything was super loaded up. They did not skimp on anything there was so much avocado. I will definitely be going here again and taking people with me."
"This should be Tucson's #1 brunch spot friendly/fun staff manager, cooks, and waiters/waitress were all enjoying themselves. Went with my daughter her boyfriend and my fiancee all had a great time. Our waiter also made a couple drinks which were not bad however he did have a bit of a heavy hand lol overall was pritty awesome. Thank you for the fun experience this was my first time and it was a darn good experience. I had the Churros pancake double stack my daughter had the chicken strip basket with fries, my fiance had the BLT with fries, and my daughter's boyfriend had a pecan pancake double stack with home fried taters. Drinks, mimosa, tequila sunrise, Dr. P, and a weird green Latte."
"I absolutely love this restaurant! As of today, this one of my top favorite. When I came in there was a bit of a line but they cleared it up fast. It's beautiful on the inside as well! With a lot of flowers and well-hung lights. I had the banana foster and I am going to recommend it to everyone! The brioche was delicious and they even caramelized the bananas on top. I think it needs to be a standard to put a pretty flower on top of French toast. That was the highlight of my breakfast. The flower was really pretty too. The Server was very nice and they had good coffee too! They seemed very focused and polite. I'm totally coming back here to try the burgers next."
