"Fantastic food. The daily slice off their lunch menu is always good. The homemade rigatoni in the vodka sauce is really good, and I suggest adding the spicy sausage. For an appetizer, you can't go wrong with the truffle fries. There is nothing on the menu we have been disappointed with. The service is always great, and the atmosphere is quiet, laid back, and relaxing."
"Best tasting Italian food in the area, hands down. Just go and order the rigatoni, with a meatball and the Sunday Gravy sauce option. Absolute perfection. Have to say the Pizza isn't really my jam, sauce is awesome, just wasn't a fan of the paper thin crust in the middle. But having one of the best tasting pastas I have ever had keeps me visiting this place as often as I can."
"We ordered pizza to have next-door at Tap and Bottle. Our order was not ready when stated. I had to go inquire, and they said they were having problems making one of the pizzas. That pizza came out about 20 minutes late and was horribly burnt on one side, all watery and oily on top (with an unnatural orange color), and the crust was completely black. They said they'd remake the pizza, and so I had to wait even longer. The remade pizza also had incredibly black crust to the point that I couldn't eat it after one slice. I now feel sick later today after having eaten that one slice. They didn't offer a refund or anything for the incredibly slow pizza and incredibly subpar pizza. I had high hopes for this place, but after this horrible experience, I will never go back."
"Went to the North location on 2/3. Made an open table reservation which we showed up early and they were able to seat us. Started off with the cauliflower, which was delicious. We ordered a pasta (decent but not hot when brought to the table) and the arugula and prosciutto pizza. And this is where the issues started. The pizza bottom was burnt beyond edible. Not a little crisp like a normal pizza. But black charred and tasted terrible. That pizza is also way too salty. We called the server over and he offered to have a new pizza made. I changed it to a margarita pizza. We saw the staff having a meeting discussing the burnt pizza. We saw them remake the new pizza twice due to burnt bottoms. They bring out my pizza. And still burnt beyond belief. Only the bottom third could be ate. Which was wet, sloppy and toppings sliding off. Bland with zero flavor. The server asked if all was ok, to which we showed the pizza and he said he would let the manager know. A woman came over (unsure if it was the manager because no introduction was given). She stated “we took the two pizzas off so don’t worry” and walked away. As if a favor was done for burnt not edible food. The lack of professionalism is what really bothered me. I ate the majority of the pizza due to being very hungry. But something needs to be done about the attention to detail by the kitchen staff when it comes to cook length of the pizza. As well as how a manager should respond to the situation. It was beyond unprofessional to not give an introduction and just set our check down voicing they “took care of the pizzas, don’t worry”. The unfortunate thing is we love the downtown Reilly craft but we will not be returning to the north location."
"As a Los Angeles dweller, this place has all the frills of a chic LA vibe with great food. The decor, the staff, the drink menu and the food all checks out for a great experience. We ordered quite well, enjoying something from all parts of the menu. The bread is ridiculously good; I always say you can judge a restaurant simply from the bread and this place passes the test! The Cacio e Pepe is delicious as well! I didn’t love the Caesar salad but it was a nice compliment to the meal nonetheless. Make sure to check out this place. It’s yummy, reasonably priced by LA standards, and inviting atmosphere. Well done Reilly’s!"
